I ordered a Gobi Stealth Rack yesterday!

To those that own this Rack...
Can I sit up there? Will this support the weight of me and a friend if we wanted to climb up there for a better view for photography or to chill and drink a beer during an epic sunset? Or should I stay off of it? lol

Oh yeah.... I put mine on two weeks ago and I have been up there with my two kids no problem at all. It is extremely well built and the ladder is also very sturdy.

Wired up and Installed a PowerTray with a Blue Seas 6 circuit block and Switch Pro 8200. Was able to use the Factory switch location without drilling or cutting. Just relocated the 2 OEM switches to other empty spots on the same side panel.

The tray is super solid with no drooping like I've seen compared to others.

Installed the Husky Liner cargo liner. Cut the tie down covers out and am using a cheap bungie net with ITW Tac Links. Works really good.

Yes, not a problem. From the Gobi rack specs page.
300 lbs safe driving load. 800 lbs static.

I got my budbuilt sliders today, and started trying to install them, thought I had read they were compatible with xreas, but there are two braces that hold the lines out too far, I won't be able to keep the controllers attached. I didn't even think to ask Bud when I talked to him on the phone. No worries, even though I was planning on waiting to lift it, I decided to order some bilstein 5100's and ditch the xreas now. I can always upgrade to a better setup later, but I'm not really picky so I'll be happy unless the ride is horrible.

So last week I ripped my rear bumper valence off while I was coming off this obstacle on Red Cone Trail near Montezuma, CO.

You can see where I gave the rock a little love tap on the bottom left corner there. Woops!

Got my dealer take-off from ebay installed today. 60 bucks later and a couple of new retaining clips and it's like new! :thumb3:

Ordered a TruckVault in standard height with weather proof T-handles. Excited to have drawers in the back that I can lock stuff up in (e.g. guns when I go to the range).

Downside is that I won't receive them for another month because I asked them to delay shipment due to me being on vacation out of the country when they'll be done getting built.
