Today I played with my Rhino ramps to see her suspension flex.

I was surprised to see her so stable, tried to rock the car side to side but it wasn’t moving.

I love my 4R

Finished version 2.0 of our cargo box by fixing the carpet and adding a sleeping platform...

Dang dude. I've only slept in the back of my 4Runner once so far (other times have been in a tent so no need) but I would be way more likely to sleep in the back of the 4R if I fabbed up something like this. And the storage looks legitimately useful. Again, nice work. I'm jealous.

For sure. Sometimes the 265s look like baby tires but that's mostly after people do like 3"+ lifts. I have no need to go that tall and am wanting to keep stock sized tires for a variety of reasons but your truck looks great. Gonna have to add the pics to my "4Runner desires" folder.

Well I have not posted up here in a really long time. Always wished I was able to get the scratch together to start the mods on my 5th gen, but alas my poor baby is dead. If any of you ever wondered how safe these 4runners really are look at this picture.

The kid who hit me was in a brand new taco. He ran a red light and was moving awfully fast. I will never nor have I ever had a bad thing to say about my 4runner. We would get another but I need better towing capacity so moving to a truck.

I finished installing my dual battery setup and got my secondary shock reservoir mounted correctly.

I am also going to flip the connections to the other side of the positive terminal to get them away from the hold down cross bar itself.

Next on the list - wire in my Switch Pro and begin setting up accessories

All good just me driving. My car got thrown pretty good but everything worked as it should and we both walked away with a couple bruises.

Haven't heard of anyone having a bad experience with them. Mine are holding up great! They use 3M industrial double sided adhesive, the stuff is impressively strong. Held on an emblem on an old ATV with the 3M tape and it went through war (power washers, mud, sand, snow, heat, cold, you name it) for 5-6 years!

Glad to hear about some positive experience with them. I’ll save up for a set after I get the front windows tinted. It’ll be a little tough dropping that kind of $$ on a few pieces of plastic though... lol but they do look great.

Picked up a trailer ball mount today. Went with a cheap Reese one from Walmart, had the same one on my old truck and it did fine. Only issue was with the shallow receiver hitch on the 4Runner it stuck out a mile... didn’t leave much of the mount sleeve in the receiver either. I just went ahead and returned it.

Is there a ball mount that has the pin holes further down the sleeve toward the ball that won’t stick out so far? Everything I’m finding online looks roughly the same as this mount.
