Went about halfway up Mineral Basin, up to the boulder field. Went back down and as we were about to go up Forest Lake trail a guy in a 4th gen 4R told us he had to turn around as the rocks were beginning to damage his truck so we didn't go in further. Then went up to Silver Lake flats and went up a little past that. We are planning on going up a little further next time.

Simple daystar 2.5/1.5, 90% for looks as a stock trail edition is more than capable enough for my needs.
I'm a fan of the old school block letters. Looks good on a white 4runner I think

Secured my toolbox with nylon webbing. Sewed loops with ladderlocks onto the D rings in the cargo area.

Just returned from rappelling the New River Gorge Bridge on Bridge Day this past Saturday.
Highway stop during the drive out, got too late to explore back roads in PA so we truck stopped it for a quick sleepover
After hiking 11 hours in the Dolly Sods in Monongahela NF, set up under the red lights at the base of Seneca Rocks. Woke up with beautiful views, will have to visit again.
Sometimes the scenic overlooks are just not elevated enough, haha. Somewhere on the way down to Fayetteville along scenic highway 150 (WV) for lunch.
All set up at camp...er..."Glamp Site" waiting for rest of rappelling team to show up.
Morning of, under the bridge, amazing day, great weather, fantastic views (clouds/fog cleared up by 10ish)
So she officially has a name now, Carin, and we baptized her with it by touching her bumper in the New River on the public ramp under the bridge before coming home. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cairn

Awesome. Really the hardest part of Forest Lake is the very first section where there are two boulder gardens. Once you're past that the rest is easy. If you pick your lines correctly you'll get away with minimal damage. I ended up bending my tail pipe on the way back down but not a big deal. I wouldn't take it without skids and sliders though.

I'm not sure where it ends up but it goes up a pretty steep hill. I think it's meant for Rzr's. I probably wouldn't take it in the 4R.
You running 285 tires?

Oh yeah I'm aware. Just curious with his setup specifically because I've been spending so much time looking at tires on TE wheels that I can never tell when someone is running stock size or 285 anymore. Sometimes 265s look itty bitty, and sometimes they look just right. Sometimes 285s look monsterous and sometimes they look perfect.

I agree and every tire is different. I can tell you the KO2 runs small wherr as the Nitto Ridge Grappler runs big. Going from the 285 KO2 to the 295 Ridge Grapper was a huge difference for me. Love the 295
