What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Switched out the stock wheels and Duelers with the new TRD black wheels wrapped in BFG KO2's.

Have a TPMS sensor light on because the local guy said that his Smart Key system wouldnt "wake up" the new sensors he supplied. So i brought it to the dealer, he said he cant do it if they arent Toyota OEM sensors, or he needed something he called a myers scanner tool (?). I posted about it on here, asking for help, but no one replied. We'll see if he can get his SnapOn guy to update his software this wednesday and get them to work. if not, they he will have to remove them and i'll have to buy OEMs.

Did the job right...

Last week I installed my Spidertrax spacers per instructions. Drove around a little this weekend, so I made sure to remove each wheel and confirm that the Spidertrax lugs were tight per instructions. If they come off, you are all witness that I did the job right! :bluejump:

The installer set the price last weekend at $80 cash. I don't know if he will ever do that deal again, fyi. Follow Chitown4x4 on facebook. That's how I found out, and I highly recommend them for any rig improvements you can't do on your own.

Not today, but Thanksgiving morning. Took my T4R on a test run for the new Icon lift to the Holy Jim trail in the OC. Met another TRD pro out there with paper plates still. This suspension is killer on every terrain and I'm glad I went with the Icon over Kings/Fox.

Replaced front brake pads with TRD pads and also did the bedding in process. While the truck was on jacks, I also rotated the tires. Took about 2.5 hours, but saved me about $150 in labor.

Thanks! The rack was great, and fitment was perfect. Biggest downfall is wait time (21 weeks).

Don't know if you noticed anything. But when I changed mine last week at 160K it was like driving a brand new truck. Better throttle response, less struggling on acceleration. Love it.

I did feel same way, but was thinking maybe just a placebo effect. My gas mileage is horrible 12mpg mixed, so I'm hoping to see improvement here as well.

This looks too close..

Bad picture but will still have an inch or so clearance from the top of the open door and bottom of the awning case. It should look pretty slick keeping the profile of the rack and filling in the space between the roof, while still being easy to take on and off (daily driver). I’ll post some pics when it gets here. For some reason there are very few people using the Fiamma’s so info is scant at best.

For you MPG junkies out there. Not today, but yesterday drove from Redding CA to Eugene OR on one tank of gas. The route was about 376 miles on GPS. I felt good about that considering the MPG-killing mods I've been doing lately. And it only filled up 20.277 gal, so I could have broke 400 miles if I kept going.

I felt good about that considering the MPG-killing mods I've been doing lately. And it only filled up 20.277 gal, so I could have broke 400 miles if I kept going.

Mine only takes 19 gallons, no matter how low the miles to empty are. I got it down to 1 mile to empty one time and it still only took a little over 19 for some reason. Figure I have a pretty good cushion even if I hit 0.

Yesterday I did my first oil change since purchasing my 4Runner back in July. Between the skid plates, lack of practice and a run to the hardware store for a 27mm socket to open the oil filter housing it took most of the afternoon, but it's all done now.

It was also the first time I really got underneath the truck since taking it to Rausch Creek, PA back in October.

That plate was flat when I installed it. :V

Finally got new shoes for my truck!

today I went in and got some BFG AT KO2 275/70/17 on some Fuel Beast wheels! Bilstein 5100 all around with 1" spacer in the rear for leveling but I'm super happy the way it came out!
