What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Joe Runner - what tires are you running? I'm looking for some that are not too aggressive and like how yours look

Blizzaks DM-V2 - 265/70r17. They are a super soft winter tire that should really only be used when temperatures are below 50 degrees. Not a very long life, but they stay super sticky even at extreme Sub-Zero temperatures. Work pretty darn well up here in the icy Arctic.

Mine only takes 19 gallons, no matter how low the miles to empty are. I got it down to 1 mile to empty one time and it still only took a little over 19 for some reason. Figure I have a pretty good cushion even if I hit 0.

Mine does that too and it's really annoying. It will say I have 10 miles of range to go, then abruptly drop to 1 mile of range left (no matter how I'm driving) and stay there indefinitely.

The last time it hit 1 mile left I drove an additional 5 miles, then filled up. I only filled up 20.2 gallons, which means I had another 40-50 miles of range left.

Used Thanksgiving weekend to mount my RCI skid plates and Fluid Film the bottom before winter really strikes. I got the steel front plate and the aluminum transmission plate. i probably did not need to, but I painted POR 15 on the plates before mounting them. So far, I am very pleased...

For the Thanksgiving road trip from DC to Ct to see Grandma...i needed to utilize the roof space. No, i couldnt get, nor afford, a true roof rack...but i did add the OEM roof cross-bars to the roof so that i could tie-down a few pieces of luggage, giving my 9yr old the one-side of the 3rd row all to himself. He calls it the 'Way-back' seat.

Many dont like the 3rd row option, but for a 4ft tall kid, it is wwaaaayyyy better than sitting in between the teenage big sister and the person sitting on the other side...i mean, who wants to be shoulder to shoulder to shoulder for 7hrs up, 7hrs back

...yeah, traffic was a beast.

today I went in and got some BFG AT KO2 275/70/17 on some Fuel Beast wheels! Bilstein 5100 all around with 1" spacer in the rear for leveling but I'm super happy the way it came out!

What is your setting up front on the 5100s?

Last night I was really pumped to get home to put on my new Front Runner rack...I started backing into my driveway and was concerned about hitting my trash cans on the driverside that I was oblivious to how close I was to my silverado and BAM.

Anyways...Silverado is fine...minor scratches on the tail light assembly, however, my 4runner bumper and quarter panel will likely need to be replaced. She was only 6 weeks old too...oh well.

When we pulled the factory rails off for the Gobi we noticed some dents and rust under the rack, but of a bummer. I cleaned the rust off and put on some touch up paint to seal it up.

For you MPG junkies out there. Not today, but yesterday drove from Redding CA to Eugene OR on one tank of gas. The route was about 376 miles on GPS. I felt good about that considering the MPG-killing mods I've been doing lately. And it only filled up 20.277 gal, so I could have broke 400 miles if I kept going.
