My 4r got its first taste of snow in Cumming, GA as well. Had to go rescue a stranded friend from the grocery store, and pulled some kid out of a ditch on the way back. The 4runner performed great in the few inches of snow. 2wd with trac/esc off for fun, and 4hi to actually drive.

Nice! We’ve gotten about 5” so far today and it’s still falling.

Gave the Pro an early X-Mas gift and installed some King 2.5" Ext Travel coilovers, Total Chaos UCAs, King rears, 1.5" OME springs, OPOR sliders, 285 Ridge Grapps and a no-rise Gobi Stealth rack.

5??? Damn! In the Westminster area it was closer to 2 - still a lot more than the tiny chance they gave it a day or two ago. Your snow-covered road looks a lot more fun than ours did, that's for sure.

They look brighter, and I like the color more. However, I fear the lack of focus may make them less effective than the original halogens. Will see soon.

Week’s update in bullet point form:

- received Toytec 3” lift kit last Friday, gotta love those Black Friday sales; install will likely be performed over the Christmas break
- educated myself on wheels / tires as that will be the next major upgrade
- re-did the oil change because I messed up and over-torqued the filter drain plug
- made an unholy mess on the garage floor
- upgraded filter cap to a metal one, it doesn’t cause the wrench adapter to stick, yay!
- ordered a No-Spill drain plug for the oil sump, this is necessary because of the belly armor
- also ordered an oil filter drain tool
- upgraded the low beam headlights to XenonDepot 5500k by 1750 lumen LEDs (also Black Friday), very pleased with the results so far
- and finally today I ordered a set of XenonDepot high beam LEDs because OCD demands color matched headlights!

Installed a set of OEM cross bars I got new for around 110 bucks. Not the biggest fan of them but they will do for my move to Colorado!
