May I ask where the folks in this thread are purchasing these ACC switches that appear to be the same push button type as the OEM ones? Was just poking around searching the forum but no luck.

Ordered a set of 305/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers! Hoping to get them in time to have them installed before I go back to work next Wednesday.

I backed up over a bag of demo debris in my driveway from my half bath remodel. Ended up with a 3” screw in my tire. My attempt to plug the hole with my ARB tire repair kit resulted in a bent plug needle, a poorly installed plug, and a very sore body. I took the it in to Discount Tire the next day to have them fix the plug only to find out that there’s actually two holes right next to each other. DT offered to replace the tire under the protection plan, but with 56,000 miles on the other three tires and a worsening cyclical tire noise from not rotation on schedule led me to just bite the bullet and order the bigger tires I’ve wanted for a while.

I wish i had gone with the 305 series tire. 285's are ice skates. Coming from someone who only ran 325's on my titan lol.

Went for a drive over to Markleeville. Just a beautiful area of the Sierra's that I head to every summer with my bike for the annual "Tour of the California Alps" (aka "the Deathride").

Also stopped of at Sand Harbor to hike around on my way back home.

Finally hit the dirt and snow this morning with some guys. Had a blast, should have done this sooner. I'm blown away with how capable this truck is.

Finished our 2922 mile Chicago-Colorado adventure.

We spent a lot of time on the road to and from Chicago in some pretty extreme conditions, we just got back tonight. Colorado is truly a 4Runner state, we didn't get to go on any OHV trails but we found some gravel, snow and had a great ski, snowshoe and cabin fun time trip that made us all agree to go back every winter. At this point we might as well move there. And the 35+ year old banana colored roof rack held up from high winds, lots of gear loaded in and -5 degree temps on the way back through Iowa. We pulled off in Des Moines, the defroster was only able to thaw the bottom third of the windshield when going 65 mph in a treacherous ice storm yesterday. I'm glad we did, we counted 35 cars and trucks in the ditches and medians on the way home.

Oh, and if you are debating the ability of Duratracs to do ice, snow, gravel, tarmac and grooved highway duty, I give them a very high rating across all. They are indisputably capable.

I finally completed the Safari snorkel install today...

redid my spacers, took off my 1 inch bora spacers and put on some fleabay 1.25 inch spacers. Also, added extended lug nuts for piece of mind (because the front wheel lugs are shorter than the rear). The ET lug nuts gives you a extra 5 or 6 turns and put the lug nut closer to the hub. Its probably overkill but I'm a believer of over doing things.

I'm running basically the same lift as you. Mine is the ToyTeC Ultimate but likely end result is the same. I'm very curious to see how the 305 fits once you have them installed. I went with a 295 but seriously considered the 305, just didn't think they would fit without a lot of cutting which i'm not willing to do.

During the winter, on days that it snows I like to go save people rather than having them have to pay for an overpriced tow truck to pull them out. This just makes it that much safer.
