I bought mine Saturday and did my first mod today. Led license plate bulbs. Purchased a bug shield so that will be next with window tinting and yellow Lamin-x for fogs.

My plans for now are to have a slow, steady, and modest build.

Removed the RTT and put it back in the garage. Gonna be a bit too busy/cold for camping for a bit.

After owning a drawer system for over a year, I got tired of them, and removed my drawer system (to put into garage storage), to save weigh (150lbs plus 70 lbs of crap inside of it), reduce backend squat (1/4 inch), and reduce rattling (sounded like a mariachi band back there).....

Reinstalled my fridge without the drawer system so I can actually see out of my back window. i actually use the fridge way more than the drawers.

Anyways, these are some things to think about when deciding on drawers. I'll put the drawers back in if I go on a roadtrip or something, but as a DD, its not necessary (mainly because of the weight).

Added SSO Front Bumper, Lamin-X to fogs

I had spray on bedliner applied to the bumper, shout out to Paul at Bedliner Veterans in Gilbert. Paul served us in the USMC, and he does great work, IMO. He added a US and an AZ flag to the lower half of the bumper, subtle but cool. I have a TE, so I had him shoot the silver rear cap (now installed) and the C4 Sliders (also installed). Last items to install that he sprayed are the Bushwacker flares. Having a MGM truck, I was looking for a little more "pop" than satin black, hopefully the bedliner texture does it.

Too big, too deep. Last month two cars drove into the river at night when the ferry was not there. Have not found one of the cars yet.

I usually get an ice cream sandwich and take another photo.

Southern UT...NYE

I know most folks like socializing on NYE, but I opted to get the hell away, so to Southern UT I went.

First set of ruins I went to.


This site had lots of wall art.


The view back to the 4Runner from the second day.


Got in to some rockier areas trying to find a campsite. Not bad for an entirely stock 4Runner. Glad I had the rock rails in a few areas though.


Got some pin striping along the way:


But was able to get to the camping spot I wanted. Not another soul for miles!


And then spent some time at Muley Point on the way home.


Not a bad start to 2018! Hope everyone on the site is doing well!

First time putting a trailer behind one two, had it all sorted.

I'm a new 4R owner and this is likely a dumb question.... but how did you change your clock display to include the extra stats? I was a little disappointed in the display options on the gauge cluster.

Installed some 14+ led tail lights. Makes my 12 TE look so much better and makes me want to hold on to her. My old tails will be for sale soon.

Quick question: I'm currently using zip ties to secure my front licence plate as I didn't want to drill holes. Do you always display yours under the windshield?

Couldn't find the post you are referencing, but there was a change in 2014/2015 (?) moving the drivers info from the clock to the dash.

Perhaps you are looking at an older model?
