This week, I installed the LoPro bumper, Smittybilt winch, Extreme LED light bar, Factor 55 and Daystar lift spacers. [emoji1417][emoji1417]

They are used for rock climbing. They are dual foam pads used to land on when climbing boulders. Usually the boulders we climb are anywhere from 10ft-30ft. The pads are used to fall on and protect us from the ground.

Couple weeks ago I installed the Kicker Hideaway sub.
Installed it under the passenger seat.
Wasn't impressed with the sound. It sounded muddled or echoed. Noticed that it was resting on the rear heat vent that is under our seats.
I took thick sticky felt pads and placed them on the bottom of the sub and it made a big difference.
Those of you who are looking for a sub that will rattle the rear view mirror but doesn't want to be heard couple blocks away, get the Kicker Hideaway.
I had a 8" Bazooka powered sub in my '09 xB and it's about on par with the Kicker.
Kinda cool thing it came with a dial that allows you to adjust the bass somewhat. The volume is adjustable from 0 to 11.
Yes, 11. Spinal Tap fans will get that. Nice touch.
Also put BXT II and Ensolite on all 4 doors and rear hatch. The rear hatch had a lot o'sh*t to go around so I did the panel instead of the door. Very quiet ride now.
Gotta say I've never felt such cheap ass speakers in my life that actually sounds decent. I think my cell phone weighed more than those speakers did.

I used Rust-Oleum high heat flat spray paint which claims to be gas and oil resistant. I thought of maybe getting it powder coated but scratches will happen and I'd rather be able to cover them up myself.

Swapped rear spings again. Several months ago, I had swapped in Dobinson's C59-677V's to replace the Metal Tech LT - HD springs. At first it was good, but the weight was too much. Installed the Dobinson's C59-701V's. Finally no more sting bug look. Right now, sitting 1-1/2" higher than before (40-1/2" ground to fender). Hoping the settle a bit. Spring compressors made this swap a lot easier and faster.

On Belay? Can you say harness and rope? You need more than crash pads. A fall from that height can break limbs and twist joints.

First time I've had MLK off in over a decade, and the kids were out of school, so we made our way through parts of NAZ to Jerome.
Had a nice picnic on the river, and ice cream cones at the end of the day.

Did the Rav4 side mirror mod. Add another item to the "a $43,000 SUV should have come stock with this feature" list.
After a few days I highly recommend this mod to everyone. I wish I did it on day 1.
