Where did you purchase that roof rack? Does it replace the bars too or do you just attach to the existing?

I found it cheapest on Amazon, free shipping too.

It will replace the existing rails. I'll post some pics when I install it this weekend.

Got my FrontRunner Slimline II Full Length Roof Rack Installed!

Super excited to get this rack on. Can't wait to get more accessories for it. I want to get an awning and RTT for sure (just don't know what brand to go with yet). I had the Gobi Stealth on for about a week, but eventually wanted to try out the FrontRunner. I am happy with the results so far, and excited to put it to use.

Went wheeling at Choccolocco Park in Al (about a 2 hour drive from Atlanta). This is my favorite park within driving distance of Atlanta so far. There are tons of trails from stock 4x4 to rockbouncer difficulty. I can't wait to get a winch on so I can try some of the more advanced trails.
Anyways, I needed some help from the all mighty lc80 get up a trail called Torque. The first picture doesn't quite do the trail justice, but the second shows just how steep it is. I returned the favor to the Land Cruiser later on that day. Got the ultimate compliment from a side by side driver who followed us around: he said our Toyotas climbed like billy goats!

Did a Super Important Mod and disabled the Eco dash light. Glad I stumbled on that one when playing around with buttons. Looking forward to getting out on some dirt this weekend. :guitar2:

I found out that I've got crushed and missing cam tabs after dropping the truck off for an alignment yesterday. Looks like it's time for some cam tab gussets, spindle gussets, and UCA rebuild. I may end up replacing the LCAs while the front end is torn apart. The bushings are shot, and I'd imagine the ball joints have seen better days.

Got the passenger side pipe bomb replaced today. They replaced the whole airbag module (04007-14335) and front pillar trim (62220-35030). It's actually a quite involved process according to these instructions they are supposed to follow. It took about 3 hours of solid work.

While they were at it, I also had the transmission serviced (fluid replacement). The parts listed there were 6600 BG Kit and 3123 Synthetic Fluid. While I didn't get a the "opportunity" to try out the new airbag , I was amazed how much better the transmission felt on the way home. It had been over 60k miles since the last fluid change and over that time it had developed a small bump going into 5th gear and the shifts between the gears were firm... kind of like the old days when we would change valve body springs to firm up the shifts. Now it is very smooth. It shifts very quickly but you don't feel it anymore. No leaks, no damage so a good day at the dealer.

How many miles are on your 4runner? Thinking about flushing mine.

I'm getting ready to install an ICON tubular Stage 7 lift on my 4Runner this weekend, starting on Saturday morning (1/20/2018). I've got the new LT285/70R17 tires installed on new 17x8.5" rims already and need to finish this lift.
