Trying to figure out how to have a soft RTT and two kayaks. With longer bars it could work, but I'd have to remove 1 kayak with both mounts to fold the tent out....

What Yakima rack is that? Is that for bicycles? I am looking at adding yakima racks to the top of my Gobi rack so i can carry the bicycles when we camp. Not sure which ones to go with though

New Rhino Rack Backbone on 2016 T4R TrailPrem

So I bit the bullet and decided to add a new roof rack to my T4R and get it ready for a little trip along the El Camino del Diablo trail in late March. It took about 2 hours to assemble it and another hour or so to install it. I think it looks great, it seems very functional and will be a stable platform for my RRT and other items for my Overlanding trips.

FINALLY was able to diagnose and fix an annoying rattle from the undercarriage i could hear when going over choppy roads or sometimes when closing the rear passenger door.

Turns out when my local shop installed my suspension kit they neglected to re-tighten the passenger side bolt on the rear control bar. And they couldn’t diagnose where the rattle was coming from after i brought the truck back in 3 times.

I finally found it by having my wife slam my passenger door about 50 times before i could locate it. Once i found it, I could literally spin the nut with my fingers, and it’s supposed to be torqued to 96 ft/lbs.

Sounds minor compared to other big work, but i am so glad to have that rattle gone. I enjoy driving the truck now.

That hill looks dangerous at any speed. If you get turned sideways due to lack of traction or wheel spin you're going to roll. How did you do on this one?

Curious to see if this y pipe actually makes a difference. Be sure to wrap it with heat shielding material or make a heat shield for it. It sits right under the transmission pan. All that heat soak into the tranny is not a good thing.

Hey guys im a straight noobie so bear with me here. I plastidipped my front end a while ago but didnt cover the grille. Was taking off my horrible plasti dip job today and noticed i got plastidip on the shown part. Will this harm my runner?

Nah, youre' good. Can always scrap it off if you wanted to pop off the grill. Over time it will probably wear off anyways though.

No. You are good to go. That is your A/C condenser line.

This is the first one I've seen. Curious if you can use the crossbars on the backbone as well or just the platform?

Kicker speakers in the front and rear doors. I have the stock non JBL head unit and it was a noticeable improvement. The OEM speakers really are crap.
