How is the Skyrise on the factory rails working out for you? I just picked up this RTT last week and i'm looking into mounting options

To be honest man, I haven't had a single issue with mounting it on the existing cross-bars. My only suggestion is to make sure you tighten up the cross-bar fasteners before putting it on. I actually replaced mine with ones from my local hardware store that make it easier to hand tighten.

Another option is to have the RTT clamp to the side rails. I haven't tried that myself but I do think it's an option. You would just mount the clamps longways. I hope that makes sense... haven't had enough coffee today. Simple answer, it works just fine on the cross-bars. I wheeled with it on the cross-bars and had zero issues.

Finally got a nice spring day on Monday and was able to get my door speakers all replaced.

Nice. I’ve always liked MBQ. Last custom system I put in one of my vehicles was using MBQ all around, except the subs were JL.

Glad you enjoy the shot. I shot this with a Nikon D810 and. 24mm lens. I t was shot at 2.8, 4000 iso and I think it was around 20 seconds.

It's not that difficult. It can be done with the bumper on but it's much easier with it off. Should be around an hour install time.

Finally got a nice spring day on Monday and was able to get my door speakers all replaced. The speakers that I took out of my old truck had rusty contacts so I splurged and bought all new speakers for the front and rear doors as well as the back hatch.

Of course I had to get a before of the crappy paper cone speakers with no magnets

And since I had to buy all new TacoTunes adapters since the ones from my 4th gen didn't fit, I finally had all the right pieces to install

All ready to go in the doors!

I was able to get all 4 doors replaced before the sun and temperature started dropping, so I got 4 of the 8 crappy stock speakers replaced so far. I have to still do the rear hatch and dash tweeters, and then add my JL sub, but it felt good to get some progress!

How do you like the MB Quart? I'm still looking for a good alternative to the stock speakers in my Tacoma. I've looked at those a handful of times, but not a big fan of ordering speakers online.

URD Mark3 exhaust came in, so had a friend help me install it. Install was pretty straight forward, took us about an hour an a half on the ground. Build quality of the kit is really nice, sounds good, and looks great. It really finishes off the truck nicely. Really happy with it

I love them, I had MB Quarts in my doors of my 4th gen that I planned to put into my 5th gen but the contacts were rusty and I couldn't bring myself to put rusty speakers into my brand new truck. I really like the sound of these new ones, it's nice to have actual magnets pushing sound and not the crappy electromagnet crap that were in there stock. I've gotten a lot more mids and lows from just swapping out these 4 speakers so far

I tried to record how it sounds, but the phone can't pick up the true tone. Even the videos of the same exhaust on other 4Runners on YouTube doesn't actually sound like what it does in person. It sounds like a smoother, slightly quieter Magnaflow exhaust. It still has the rumble, but in a lower tone. It's louder in the cab than I thought it would be, but it's not irritating.
