Tint & XPEL PPF

Two front windows tinted w/ 20% ceramic film and full front XPEL Ultimate PPF. Both done by Imperial Tint in Kirkland, WA. Jeff and his team there did an impeccable job.

Thanks! They applied the XPEL film to the full hood, full front bumper, headlights/fogs, full front fenders, mirror caps, and door cups.

Yup! A lot of great views and trails in DV.

Used to be one of my favorite places to visit. Spent many days and nights there, and almost nothing can compare to the view from the camping along west side road

Today's progress:

• Assembled and installed a RAM Mount arm to support an iPad for use in navigation or keeping the right-seater entertained on long trips
• Added DRL delete modules to high beams to protect the LED drivers and prevent hyper blink
• Replaced overhead console with one from a Trail Edition so I now have Homelink buttons to control the garage door openers (this is a drop-in replacement)
• Investigated how to route antenna cable from trunk lip mount up through floor pan into interior; found grommet, now researching process to remove interior trim from the driver's side of the trunk floor to get at it from above

I have the same rack, looks great! My ship time was even less....only took 7 days! Either way.....miles better than the gobi lead times:cheer2:

how is the wind noise, overall experience with this rack? I like the low profile look of it and was mainly looking to have the stock racks painted black

Do you have a part number for this? Is it plug and play, or do you have to splice into a wire somewhere. I would really like to do this upgrade as well.

Basically no wind noise. Sounds no different than having no roof rack at all. Like the rack so far. Install wasn't as great as I had hoped for, I had to use a lot of washers to shim it and make it sit flush. Overall, It been a good rack!

Did one of these for 2 Toyotas yesterday with the help of my 3 year old. Fluid was at least 2 years old. Brakes have some firmness to it again.
