What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Cold beverage setup complete. Yeti Goal Zero 400 Lithium plugged into factory AC inverter. ARB fridge into Yeti AC. I know that it isn’t the most efficient this way because of the ac/dc conversion but it works best for the Yeti. Trust me I know all of the options, upgrades, dual batteries etc. but after much research (reading about every thread on this forum, Expedition Portal and OB) I found the flexibility of this setup would work best for our needs. Just need to add a 100 watt solar panel and I’m good to go off the grid for a while. After testing, the fridge ran for 21 hours in Florida heat (while empty and set at 34 degrees F). It pulls 70w with compressor running and 10-15 with it off. 5 amp draw with compressor running, .8 when not running. Well within spec of the Yeti. The key is to set the battery protection on the ARB to low (10.3 v) as you don’t have to worry about draining it and not being able to start a vehicle.

Installed black out logo kit on my 2018.

I purchased the SR5 kit because it was cheaper than the TRD OR kit and I hadn’t planned to black out the TRD logos.

I have the front logo and SR5 logo for sale if anyone would like it. Local to UTAH as well.

Finished Installing my factory heated seat pads, wiring, and switches. Cost much less than buying an SR5P. Quick question for those of you who purchased your T4R with this from the factory, how hot are these heated seats supposed to get? I feel like they are more of seat warmers vs heaters.

I have the 18 TRD ORP, the heated seats heat very quickly and works well. In general heated seats warm the seats, and do get pretty warm. In the summer if left on you would sweat. It’s a pretty good heat, not just warm

Got my CBI front bumper installed over the weekend. Also got the Warn VR8000 winch mounted and hooked up. Install was fairly easy. Just have to measure a few times to make sure your cuts are where they need to be.

New wheels

Took the wheels and rims to the shop in the 3rd gen and had them installed a few hours later on the 5th. Couldn't be happier with the cooper at3's. They drive just as good if not better than the stock bridgestones and the TRD Pro rims look soooo much better IMO.

Has anyone opened up the OEM tail lights? I like the look but would like to get rid of the chrome inside. Just haven't seen it done anywhere yet?

Antifreeze Change

Glad this weekend is almost over, yesterday flushed the brakes, today did a drain and refill on the coolant. Decided to replace the lower radiator hose while I was in there, the clamp to the body slowed me down. Used this stuff.

Added Fuel Vector D601's with Duratrac 265/70/17's.

I have a 2018 MGM and looking at D601 vectors. I didn’t know what anthracite looked like until your post. Have you been happy with them? Do they look dark charcoal gray in sunlight? Also do they have metallic in them? Trying to figure out if I go with them or the scs ray10s or black rhino warlord. Decisionssss.....

Installed this rigid industries grill and rough country led light bar today, also I blacked out the grill by swapping the silver bolts to black.

Nice. I'd be terrified of mudslides in that kind of weather but I'm a vagina lol.

Washington has so many freakin' rock slides on forest service roads it makes me super paranoid when I'm driving past them thinking my 4Runner is going to cause one.
