Stripped all my old wax and sealants off and applied 2 costs of Ammo Reflex.... pictures don’t do it justice either. The gloss and slickness of it is amazing. Excited to see how long it lasts and protects the paint from dirt and mud.

This was yesterday on Mother's Day but I got some ceramic tints all around, Installed the TRD pro skid plate, front valence, changed oil, avs window visors, and mounted some K02 275's on powdercoated trail wheels. Man was it a workout mounting these big tires!

Finally got off my arse and did / experienced something incredible. Explored the Kokopelli Trail for 5 days from Loma, CO to Moab, UT a week ago. It was absolutely epic.

Took them off with ratchet, diluted some denaturing alcohol and soaked them and swished them around for about 15 mins. This was just to clean them and prep them. If I did it again, I would have gone and got some etching primer to spray them first. But I had high temp matte paint laying around, so I just used that.

To make things easier, grab a piece of cardboard and poke 100 holes in it. Stick the screws in all the way so you're not painting the threads. Then regular painting procedures. Light, even coats starting the spray off the bolts, sweep with even speed and distance. I did 5 light coats and let it cure for 24 hours. I had a hot garage, so I just left them in there. If you're picky and dont want dust to fall on the bolts, just get a large clean tub and put it over the bolts between coats.

Installed the Fj Cruiser TRD Pro suspension last weekend, and for mothers day mounted up a set of 285/70r17 Falken Wildpeak At3w's on a set of TRD Forged wheels for my wife. Did end up having to pull off the mud flaps, but am happy with how it came out. 285 fit right into the stock spare location with space to spare.

I bought a 5th gen this weekend! 2010 Trail Edition. My first car ever was a 3rd gen that I loved. Sold her 4 years ago for a GMC Sierra. Now I'm back in a 4Runner and couldn't be more stoked!



Was going to buy a stock one and build it up, but the Trail Editions were so hard to come by. This one just happened to come up and already had the lift that I was planning on buying for it! What should I do next? Restored the headlights today, and I plan to add a light bar in the grille soon and maybe some rock sliders.

Gah, so my BFGs arrived today. Called 5 shops to find one that could install them along with my TRD wheels today. Go down there. Guy is like, yeah you're gonna need TPMS sensors too, we don't have them, I'll have to get them from Toyota. He calls them and leaves a message, and then I bother to ask how much they are. "From Toyota? Probably $100 each plus tax" (12%). WTF....I'm not spending $450~ on ****ing TPMS sensors. So I get the hell out of there to go home and do my own research, then light bulb goes off, why don't they just re-use the existing ones....duh. So I call back, ask why they can't just re-use the existing ones, "Oh sure we can do that." Thanks jackass. Can you guys still do the install today? They said if you show up in 15 minutes yes. So I jump in and start driving there, 5 minutes later, ring ring, "oh yeah we don't have the service packs so we can't do it today." FFS. And people wonder why everyone orders shit online with this kind of service.

Congratulations. She's a beaut! I think you should drive it around for a few months and enjoy it. She will do almost everything you would need as-is. However if you think you are going to do some aggressive off road, I would recommend sliders.

Thanks! The color is Satin Black Metallic. Up close you can slightly see silver/metallic flakes. A local dude in San Bernardino (bulletproof coating). PM me for more deets!

Yup. Shop trying to take you for a ride, and all newer vehicles have TPMS in their wheels. You do need a "rebuild kit" for the TPMS every time you take them off a wheel and install them in a new wheel. If youre using the same wheels and just wrapping new tires on, a rebuild should not be needed. Hope this helps. I did a ton of research before I put my wheels on, and costs add up. lol

Drove it home from the dealership...it is now all mine.



So very very excited. Have wanted a 4 Runner for a while and finally got to pull the trigger on one. I opted for the ORP since I didn't want to spend the money(wait) on a Pro. Couldn't find one with everything I wanted so I pieced it together at the dealership. Big change coming from a 2012 Fusion Sport. Next step is the Nox Lux kit on the badges and tint. Then I might start looking at leveling it off!
