What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Not so much today, but this week I picked up my new to me 2013 Trail. It came with the TRD wheels and has KDSS. Upgrades to come as funds allow.

Customizing Grill continued

Finished cutouts for lights. Next step is cutting the chrome garnish. Going to try and make 1 bracket to hold the 3 lights instead of having 3 brackets. Making adjustments as I go along.

Hi everyone, im kinda of in a hole here and need some help. I have been looking around and can't seem to find the answer im looking for. I installed a SSO front hybrid bumper yesterday because all the plastic stock pieces were broken or missing, and with my current lift set up it is sagging and heavy steering. (my current set up is TRD Pro shocks with spacers, don't judge was a greenhorn then). I know i need a new set up with medium duty coils. I was looking at the OME 3" but heard they are stiff. So my question is what is a good setup that won't break the bank, I don't do anything serious like rock crawling, just want something that will bring back the feel of when it was without the bumper. My second question is can I just get the front shocks and do the rear later or must it all be done at one time? Thanks:help:

I built my roof rack today. Still have a few things to do on it, but it’s pretty close. I took it for a spin on the highway and it howls like a banshee. I’m planning on a fanning a fairing. I hope that helps or this is going to become a yard ornament.

I still need to preload the passenger side. I didn't have a way to compress the springs in my garage. I rented spring compressors from AZ, and even ran over to harbor freight this morning to grab their single action spring compressors to work. It didn't. So any tips would be helpful.

Seriously poor clearance with that setup... :)

Yes I know, wife's bike uses an aftermarket crossbar plus cheap rack. It puts her bike at an angle when on rack.Works fine for local use and never any issues. But a new rack is coming soon. Good thing is, I don't usually off road my truck with my bikes =)
