How bad is the cutting? Still debating, having a hard time thinking about cutting my brand new 4runner.:shocked:

Ruined an awesome weekend of riding ATVs on the dunes at Pismo Beach by running out of gas on the way home. Scanguage II said I had 4 gallons left. Ended walking 2 miles to a gas station. Could have been worse and I learned a good lesson.
PS - Not happy with AAA either - was on hold for 15 minutes to talk to a live person and 55 minute projected wait.

Aw that sucks. You werent the people on ATVs that hit my swingout 42 ft from out caution tape, right?

Steel or aluminum?? How long was your lead time?? Just ordered mine in steel and got a shipping date of August 29.

They are both steel. My lead time was about 12 weeks. I had them shipped directly to RPM off-road in Monrovia. They handled the install for me. THey rock!

I typically take a .45 with me, when camping, but I was in Canada - taking a pistol cross the border is a pain in the ass. Bringing a longarm is easier, but that's just not as convenient to carry.
That said, I'd rather avoid an encounter all together. Bears getting accustomed to getting food from humans is bad for the bears and the humans.
This past week I have installed led strips inside. Wired up my SPOD for my two front pods and future front light bar. Ran wires for subs(not working out like I would have imagined). Put 2.5” front spacers on, rears to come. Need to mount front light bar, reverse light bar and install the new rock lights. Been a busy past week!
Also first trip into the woods!

2018 TRD Pro Issues
Went to the dealership in my 2018 TRD Pro. I have 6,000 miles on this Runner and speedometer quit working and every light lit up on the dash. Not off to a good start Yota. They cleared the codes and lights and said they needed to replace speed sensor. Of course they aren’t in stock. Continued driving like normal and the next day all the dash lights came on for a couple of seconds and then off unlike yesterday when they just stayed on. When the lights came on it made the sound of the traction control engaging. Anyone have this problem?

I have two labs that love to go on camping adventures with us and they hang out in the back.
It would get hot back there from the sun coming through the windows and I'm very conscious about keeping my guys comfortable and safe.
So I made some cheap sun shades for the rear windows.
I bought two Dollar Tree sun shades. However you can do both rear windows with one window shade so I might try to do my rear passenger windows too.
The sun shades are extremely flimsy and dont have any structure whatsoever. So I made some templates and cut them out of cardboard (ironically from our recent Chewy.com purchase). Glued the sun shades (cut to fit) down and used some gorilla tape to hold down some zip tie pulls to pull them out when not in use.
Work great and should help out!

This weekend I joined up with the crew at Expedition Utah and helped install some new signage for a local trail.
My brother also put together a vid of our trip.
Teetering on 2 wheels on a slope is scary. I'm also amazed at how utterly unimpressive cameras can make slopes look.

Haven't had the time to do anything fun or exciting with Megaweapon the past few weeks. 
But yesterday while I was at the gas station, got some great compliments on my rig from some very nice guys from Canada. That kind of made my day.
