This Weeks Plans

Just ordered 1.5" spacers for the rear, ditch light mounts, and another light. Plan to install grill light bar, remove stock running boards, install ditch mounts and lights, along with installation on my reverse light bar. Busy weekend! May even work on subwoofers too!:dance:

Wasn't sure how I felt about installing a dashcam until I recently got rear-ended last month. So I snagged a deal on Amazon for the Aukey DR02 dashcam for about $50. Not bad of a camera. Also bought a hardwire kit for a few bucks and now it is powered via ignition control. The idea is to set it and forget it. I like the fact it is very discreet. Camera is mounted next to rear view mirror mount, passenger side. From the driver's view, it is not within view. It hides behind the rear view mirror.

took the new pop-up on its maiden voyage with some friends, one of whom has a drift boat. did some fishing on the upper colorado (shouldn't have pulled this brown from the water in the heat, that was a poor decision), camping and whatnot. Saw some other rad toyotas out there as well!

Used an "Add-A-Circuit" on an existing fuse that was powered via ignition. Ran the line up the pillar and across the head liner. Done in 10 minutes.

How did you hardwire it to your ignition?

Went to the dealership in my 2018 TRD Pro. I have 6,000 miles on this Runner and speedometer quit working and every light lit up on the dash. Not off to a good start Yota. They cleared the codes and lights and said they needed to replace speed sensor. Of course they aren’t in stock. Continued driving like normal and the next day all the dash lights came on for a couple of seconds and then off unlike yesterday when they just stayed on. When the lights came on it made the sound of the traction control engaging. Anyone have this problem?

Sucks man. But I’d make a new thread for this as not many people will read your post here.
