Just got back from a 2 week road trip up to Bozeman and back.
These are just some of the pics from the trip, and of course, the 4Runner.
Lunch the first day along Cottonwood Canyon:
Got me a Cut at an unnamed lake in UT:
Beautiful drive in MT:
60 years worth of shed collecting at an Atlas Obscura spot in Montana. The guy was very cool to talk with and had an amazing collection of deer, elk, antelope, and moose sheds, as well as some bison skulls with horns.
This spot took me two tries to get to...some serious LPC time...lake was dead though.
Camp in Wyoming:
And camp near Flaming Gorge:

That is a cheapie coleman table that I picked up about 15 years ago when I was in college.
I'm okay with cheap. Looks like a decent amount of thought went into making it sturdy at least.

Day before yesterday I did the Powerbass oem fit front and rears, Ill do a post about it, I took like 30 pictures.
Impressions: Better than stock. By a decent amount. Still not amazing overall, but for the $250 total I spent, mind blowing. WELL worth the money if you don't have a ton to spend.
I will eventually be replacing them with something fairly high end (in the $400-600 range per set) and selling the pwoerbass here but for now they are great.

Got Pro Comp Lift kit installed and waiting for it to settle. !! Cannot wait to take it to beach over the weekend.

Kind of hard to see but something hit my windshield and cracked it. Crack is about 10 inches long on the lower passenger side and goes to the edge of the window. Was not even close to anyone when it happened. UGH!!!
I am contemplating not fixing it as I just got the windshield tinted with 90% ceramic about three months ago. Would cost me $150 to retint...Would this leak? Thoughts? I

Perhaps a rock thrown from a tire going the opposite direction?
Probably won't leak as the crack is likely only in the outer layer of laminate.
If you are in a moderate climate it may be OK, but if you encounter significant temperature change, especially freezing temperatures, the crack will likely spread further and affect the structural integrity of the windshield.

Loaded up boxes and boxes of parts and dropped the 4Runner at a performance shop.
I parked it next to a sharp looking blacked-out GTR. When I asked the shop owner about it, he said it's cranked to hell and back, putting out about 1,800hp!

And I thought my buddy's ZL1 pushed up to 760hp was BA!

Looks great! I just ordered the Boss kit too. Did you get the regular Superflex or the HD coils in back? How much lift did it wind up giving you?
Curious what performance parts you got from Ikea...
