So, what's the planned mods you will be looking at?
Right now we are doing an axle swap to 3500lb with 6 x5.5 hubs spidertrax spacer and going to mount some FJ steelies with 265 70r 17 LRE Falken Wildpeak AT3w's so that we can run interchangeable spare between the vehicle and trailer. We are also getting custom fab full length steel fenders with steps. The design is will allow us to weld a custom height adjustable rack with lift strut assist for our rtt to mount on. The rack will come later though as we need it ready for a trip next week.
Hot water system, power, lights, galley, extended struts/roof rack?
Trying to keep it simple for now, using it and then see what we need as we go. Adding the rack above is first priority. Potential power stuff later no plans as of yet. The galley would be nice, but as it is restored as an original m416 there is no tailgate....yet.
Any plans to extend the draw bar and replace the pental hok/hitch mount?
Potentially, but we are going to try out the pintle for now. It towed better than expected from Jacksonville back south (about 300 miles). After this trip if we get tired of the pintle we might extend it and go max-coupler

Thanks! It really was, it took us over a year to find one that was either at a price point or in condition to be worth it (and within a reasonable drive). We've been really close to just pulling the trigger on a new one, like the CVT or Ethos Off-Road but the $ savings even after modding this one was worth the wait for us
