Did a little stance correction with a ToyTec 3inch BOSS kit with SPC upper arms. I know some don’t like Toytec but had it on my FJC and wheeled it harder than 95% of folks spending $$ on Icons and never had an issue, so went with them again. Interestingly enough, I can tell it went up but it barely looks it in the picture :lol:
Threw on some RCI A-arm skids while I was in there.

Same here, you could have checked out my thread, I posted several pics of the process lol. I also got my roof rails powder coated satin black and replaced the silver caps with Toyota OEM black caps, looks SO much better with no more silver. Next up I'm tinting my mirror turn signals :dizzy:

Time to go check out that thread again. I like the way these are looking, and could use a little less chrome on the limited.

Xenon Depot HID Kit, CoverKing seat covers, and rigid D2 Pro fogs

So I ordered My Xenon Depit Hid Kit in 5000 color ( to try and match better with rigid fogs) the kit was well organized, easy to install, and look great (haven’t done any night time driving but they take away to yellow color that I don’t like. Also did rigids flush mount fogs and replaced oem, bought quick connect adapters to wire them with the factory fogs and not an independent switch, took less than 30 minutes! Felt like a productive weekend!

I’m definitely excited to use them at night I live in the sticks a little bit in VA so they will come in handy, I sold my 13 raptor that I built even more for the 4Runner so I had to take the 4Runner up a notch quickly because I felt withdrawn with a bone stock vehicle! And selling the raptor gave me enough for the 4Runner and some mods so it was basically an even trade! Love the 4Runner though, wish I had another 10k to make it perfect

Qi charger

Saw it on the forum, I added a qi wireless charger to the tray in my 2016 trail. Pretty simple,
Bought pretty generic qi charger and took apart exposing the charger. Trimmed the plate off and fastened with duct tape to the bottom of the tray. Used an add a circuit and ran a cigarette lighter under the center console. Tray fits my iPhone X perfect. Simple mod. No more wires hanging around.

Not today, but last week... replaced my old KO2s with new ones. The old ones still had enough tread for
maybe a few months of daily use, but with my annual Nevada/Mojave trip coming up, I didn't feel like taking
chances on old rubber.

I was supposed to be starting out on my trip August 2, but my wife's health problems have flared up so
I've had to push my trip back a couple weeks.

Good choice! I think more people hate on SPC than they do Toytec.

SPC/LR seems to have had some issues in earlier versions of the UCA, but I haven't seen/read any complaints lately. Well, I did hear of one person having an issue with the ball joint, but I think it was an improper install that caused their problem.

I know a guy that had Icons on his rig and had to rebuild them before 10k miles, and was looking at rebuilding them a second time. He sold them and replaced them with the Toytec Boss and has been happy ever since. Because of his experience, I put the Toytec Boss on my Tacoma and have no complaints. I have been reading more and more about Icon QA issues.

I think you made the right choices.
