Re-engineered the tailpipe

Not today, but this weekend, I got my exhaust tailpipe repaired after crunching it but good on my last off road trip. While I was getting it re-done anyway I had them tuck it up a bit higher and do a side dump just behind the passenger mudflap. Really happy with how it turned out, no more exhaust smell when I roll the back window down and the shop guaranteed that if I managed to mangle it now they would re-design it again.

Here's the tailpipe before, not including the 6 inches I hacked off on the trail because it was squashed flat:

Geeze, your wheels look like that in less than two years? Are you using some sort of product on them that's fading and oxidizing the finish like that? Maybe you have extremely hard water in your area or you take it to a car wash that applies wax?

Car wash wax will do that? I have found that the white stuff on the lettering is an add on, and not a diminution of the red lettering. You can scrub it off. Annoying.

[MENTION=105450]CowboyTaco[/MENTION], Hey I have no griefs about them They look sharp and I in the area I am in there is nothing like it. My kids love to use them as steps and it gives a good standing platform for getting to the roof. I like that they out flat rather angle up. I think if they were angled up my foot will slip all the time and I would have to balance my ankle. I have an ankle injury so that would bother me. Plus the larger flat step for the rear passengers is an added bonus. Even if wasn't there it still would be nice but having it exceptionally nice. I am glad I got them powder coated flat black rather then the glossy finish it came. It works out great because I also got them coated with Ceramic Pro which has a better effect on the flat finish. All welds seems really nice and the overall construction is solid, sturdy, rigid. I am probably not going to be able to get a real extreme field test in my area.

Thanks! The road up there was dry, dusty and silty. The drive up to the peak was easy with the PRO.

Light bar mounted! Ditched the roof rack light bar setup and did the front bumper light bar setup instead. I like it better honestly.

If anyone wants to buy my front runner light bar mounts for the roof rack, I have mine for sale. Mounted for a day, if that, and comes with all hardware and brackets. $50 plus shipping, or local meetup in Huntington Beach, CA.

Modified my Shrockworks bumper

Took off the tow hitch, giving me about 4" more clearance on the back bumper, and raised up the spare tire mount to the top position. It still sits low enough that I can check my six.

Prior to doing this, my new Shrockworks bumper was about as low as the original. I wasn't sliding on my spare anymore, but my departure angle still sucked.
