What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Installed Xenon Depot Xtreme LEDs in the low beams. Anybody else just put the cables in the housing instead of drilling a hole? Is it truly necessary? Input is welcome.

I just installed those yesterday and they are awesome!
Did you have to wait like me for them to be back in stock?
Have a 13’ so no dust cap to deal with, but I have read lots of ppl stuffing it all into the light housing. Seems like a smart idea to me.

I stuffed everything inside the housing and it all fit no problem. MUCH better than drilling a hole in the dust cap. Make sure the LEDs are oriented “left-right” instead of “up-down” to get uniform light output with minimal hot spots

But did he? The original filter had an arrow pointing UP. This filter's arrow is also pointing UP. If the arrow indicates airflow on both filters, he has it right regardless of the text being upside down on the new filter.

yeah, the original filter had an “up” arrow but the replacement filter’s arrow indicates the path of airflow, which is the other direction.

Like it would make any difference.

it doesn’t matter with standard filters, but it often does with “premium” HEPA and charcoal filters.

Local dealer SR5 ARB showroom model

Went to the dealer to get some parts for my 4th gen and came across this ARB accessory model. SR5 w Bumper and lights, Tent, Awning, Black Rhino wheels and what looks like Predator Pro steps. Parts guy said ARB isn't involved with the truck, the dealer decided to build a floor model to advertise the add on options. Pretty cool to see it in the show room though.

Yeah, had to wait a few weeks. Hope they're worth it! Haven't gone on a drive with them yet. Original lights were horrible.

Okay cool. I thought I was going to be shamed for being lazy, but I don't want to drill holes where they're not needed, and it's quite clean and easy to just put them in the housing. Thank you for the advice as well; I'm going to pull them out this evening to check the orientation!
