Does that app provide live tracking?
Did the same thing after heading up the Squamish Valley to the Elaho and losing truck-based GPS quickly, almost 40km with no GPS in the 4Runner. Good thing I knew where I was.
Curious to know what you're using? Personally just signed-up with Gaia and will be using my iPod 6 and GPSMAP64s mounted on RAM seat wedge/arms/mounts from GPSCITY.ca and RadioWorld.ca.
Gaia looks like a great deal for such useful nav software. Have already downloaded some maps, etc.
Also made a mount for my Element. Can easily be moved high or low on the seat, the seat can be adjusted for it's full range, the straps just need to be adjusted at the snap buckle under the seat. This is about 7' of 1" tubular webbing, one 1" nylon buckle, one 2" ABS pipe cap with 3 slots dremel'ed out of the collar, 2 large zap straps and the clip that came with the extinguisher. The hardest part is slotting the ABS cap and getting the buckle under the seat snugged. By the time I remembered to take a couple of pictures it was made and on my wagon so if anyone wants better pictures let me know. It works like a charm, is out of the way, is easily removed and adjusted and is a few bucks to make.

Found this this product DURATEX on YouTube used for speaker boxes and decided to use it for my wood base its like rhino liner but for wood and seems to be very strong next is my drawer project for the side of fridge

Performed 1st oil change with 2,097 miles on the odometer today. Sooner than required, sure, but the thought of 10k for the first and 10k intervals just kills me.

I did the same thing. First at 2K, 2nd at 5K, 3rd at 10K, and I will go every 5K for as long as I own the truck. Serviced my diffs at about 11K and i'm glad I did. Quite a bit of fine metal dust in the oil and on the magnets. I will service diffs every 30K or so as well and transfer case and transmission every 50K I use Mobil 1 engine oil with an OEM Toyota filter. Used Mobil 1 full synthetic 75-90 in the diffs. Transfer case and transmission will be done with OEM Toyota oil.

Been running an FJ for the past couple of years, but unfortunately a month or so ago it died a horrible and tragic death and has been subsequently replaced with a 2018 SR5.
Today was the first time I've had the chance to take it to the woods and at least get the tires dusty...

The drone itself, not including the remote control, was about $1000 when I bought it early last year.
They released a newer version recently, and dropped the price on the old ones by a couple hundred bucks,
so still not cheap.

Found another grove of tree porn (including a depiction of Joe Lewis' 1948 fight against Jersey Joe), drifted with a racing team, camped above about a bajillion megatons of stored naval munitions, passed a group of over 100 buggies, found a new petroglyph site, epic rainy weather that made the dry lakes not-so-dry terror fests, pulled a German tourist out of the mud, found some shiny rocks, and otherwise had a great trip without breaking anything.
