Got to work this morning and noticed this...

Just got my set of 285/70/17 Falkens installed to get the final look I was going for! Not all installed today, but I put on Bilstein 5100s all around with a daystar rear spacer for 2.5/1.5 of lift and a few other assorted little mods to give it a more rugged "stock" look. Thankfully I only have found some minor rubbing on the inner fender liner at full lock in reverse from spirited street driving, so I will have to trim that up asap... I know there will be more trimming needed when at full articulation off-roading, but I will cross that bridge when I have to :shrug:

Also, what are peoples opinions on the TRD logo in the lower grill like in my photo? A little part of me thinks its a bit tacky and over-the-top, but at the same time I think its a cool addition :loco:

If I keep it, I will swap out the TRD license plate holder to the back plate to avoid three TRD logos on the front.

I like the emblem. Subtle and not douchey....

Nice video, I've had these mirrors sitting on my work bench for months. Planning to install them soon, thanks for posting. I've already removed my mirrors to replace the puddle bulbs, but always a nice reminder

I installed a 2019 skid on my ride a month ago and looks like this. The letters aren't stick on and have holes cut in plate in the middle of the letters which have a press and lock design with the letters.

Yes that is exactly what is on my wifes new 2018 Cavalry Blue TRD PRO. We somehow lucked into having a 2019 skid plate. And since my question. Toyota confirmed that some 2018 are being delivered with a 2019 skid plates. Once they confirmed that. I did what anyone else would do I did a search for New 2018 Cavalry Blue TRD Pro and found quite a few dealers with that color TRD Blue with the same raised RED letters on the skid plate. I suppose Toyota is at the end run for 2018 and started sharing the 2019 skid plate on the remaining 2018 builds. Interesting for sure.

I attached a pic of our New 2018 as it came from the dealer with this skid plate.

Yeah I built it. I do stuff like that in spare time. I deleted most of the my built pics. This ins one of Lower bracket I made. Ignore the upper hole. I was off a bit and it wasn't going to be a very large bolt anyway.
