How are the AT3W in the snow? Got mine about a month ago, love them so far, but no snow experience with them yet.

I've got almost 9k on mine and love them so far! Haven't had any issues or "oh crap" moments other than the few slick spots on snowy/icy trails. Running the unplowed mountains roads on Monday, I wasn't going fast, maybe 25-30mph, but didn't lose traction once.

I don't want to start a new thread for this so I'll ask here.

I have a restored 2nd gen and 4th gen (2UZ) T4R that are both pretty much completely stock so I'm not familiar with wheel stuff. I've read the FAQ but am curious about people's actual experience.

I just got a 2018 SR5 and am look to slap some bilstein 5100s, Konig Six Shooters (17x8), and 285/70/17 duratracs, but I only want to lift the thing maybe 1-1.5" (it's tricky putting my kid in her seat as is so 2-3 is really tall for me).

Have people done that tire + rim size with a 1-1.5" lift without any rubbing issues? Thoughts? Thanks!

Camping at Lake Leatherwood near Eureka Springs, AR

This is the 4th stop on our trip.....left Dallas on Oct. 25th. So far we’ve hit Hot Springs, Lake Ouachita, Bella Vista / Bentonville, and this gem in Eureka Springs. The MTB trails around here are really well done with 6 new downhill tracks with free shuttle service.
Next stop is ........ St. Louis? Anyone have recommendations of what to see and where to ride in MO?

New to forum looking for advice

I've read this forum and searched for awhile before asking and being told to just look more..
What seems to be most common:
-Toytec 2.5″ leveling kit in the front and the Daystar 1.5″ lift in the rear
-Bilstein 6112s Front , 5100s Rear
-Bilstein 5100s all around

I got quoted for a Rough Country 3'' Lift and installation at 1,200

I want some added clearance and 285/70r/17's without losing performance on my 2010 2wd

Sadly a nice LED bulb from superbrightleds gave up exactly after 3 years warranty was up. That is the LED bulb I had in my dome lamp housing

Funny that my home made bulbs I made for mirrors and for tailgate three years ago (http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/206081-my-version-interior-led-lights.html#post2127406) are still running strong. So I replaced the broken bulb with slightly modified (CANBUS resistors removed) "9w Cree LED 31mm Canbus No Error Festoon License Plate Interior Map White Lights".

Calculated light output is a bit less than the broken one, but I will modify it by replacing the 47 ohm resistor with 120ma constant current driver (AL5809) that is the same size as this resistor. That should bring the output close to 130lm which will be enough for dome light and not blinding driver when turned on by passengers at night.

Why change from the Pro Wheels to the FN Wheels?

I run the FN wheels also. They're a better wheel than the stock pro wheels unless you're staying stock. The FN wheel is 17x8 rather than 17x7, it's lighter, it has 4.5" back spacing which is better for a larger tire, and has a 0 offset. With a 295/70/17 and 1.5" lift, all I did is a fender liner mod, no MBC needed. They fit the truck perfectly.

Did you only lift/level the front or did you do 1.5" all around?

Did you only lift/level the front or did you do 1.5" all around?

FJ TRD Pro suspension kit which lifts the front 3/4" over any other OEM suspension. I also put a 3/8" top hat spacer on the FJ coilovers which gave me another 3/4" Rear is a 1/5" spacer on stock coils. All spacers are from Cornfed. Ride in awesome, tires clear without issue. This is on road, I don't wheel it so honestly can't say how they would fit when stuffed. I did end up dropping to a 285 P rated tire since the majority of my driving with this truck is road trips. Just a better setup for what I use it for. I do miss the look of the 295 though, looked so much better but is what it is.

Went up north to Oklahoma City for a friends wedding and decided to take the scenic route coming back home. First time me and the wife have ever seen cotton fields so ofcourse we pulled over and took ton of pictures.

No cotton was hurt during our photoshoot.
