As far as steps go, I like them. I would honestly rather not have steps at all but I have 2 kids and a wife that require some kind of step. They also work really well against door dings which is a plus.
What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Went up north to Oklahoma City for a friends wedding and decided to take the scenic route coming back home. First time me and the wife have ever seen cotton fields so ofcourse we pulled over and took ton of pictures.
No cotton was hurt during our photoshoot.

You are correct. I live in Northside. Needed to ship some stuff at Fed Ex. Hit up BDubs.
The TRD Pro Wheels required a spacer to be flush with the fender, but the spacer was causing wheel shimmy at 55-60 mph. Plus I wanted a wider wheel for the 285's.

Thawed it out, it was covered in a half inch of ice this morning. No issues on the road though

auto started while i took the dog on his morning walk, cuz it's a lil bit chilly. auto start shut itself off just as i stepped out to leave for work, huh, damn I'm good. got a bit of a startle when some platinum-blonde mouth-breather college girl came flying around a blind turn in the parking lot and nearly clipped me. shook my head and continued on my way. rolled windows down and cranked the heat and seat heater, love the crisp cold morning air combined with a toasty seat.

It was at Red Rock Canoyon State Park.

It's kinda small. There are a few spots to rappel and hike but we didnt get out to explore them though.

Got a ticket from CHP
My first ticket in maybe 15 years?
I got off the freeway to show a friend old Highway 40 near Eagle Lakes, on an unmarked exit that starts as dirt, then turns into pavement. We drove down a mile of the old highway, hidden in the forest between the interstate lanes, an abandoned stretch out of sight in the timber. Historical and fun, in a zombie apocalypse kind of way.
The road dead ends, so we had to return back to the interstate.
Traffic is light, so after a careful stop I get back on the interstate, no cars within at least 1/4 mile. And a couple miles later the cop comes out of nowhere and pulls me over.
Things were friendly enough, I explained I was showing my friend the old highway because we were into the history of the area, plus looking for rocks (and my buddy showed him a cool rock, lol). So the cop wrote me up for a "non emergency stop" on the interstate. Then he advised me to go to court and just tell the judge what I had told him, and he would back me up.
