Great write-up. Basically exactly what I want to do. I noticed at the end you said it still sticks up a little bit. Is it flush with the top bar of the rack, or does it stick above that a bit? If you were just going to bolt the light bar to the mount (without the secondary mount you used) could you cut even lower to have the light bar even more flush with the top of the wind fairing and stuff?

Yes, it sticks up 1/4". I could have cut the slot deeper, but was too lazy.

Ok. So if you did cut deeper, it would likely be flush? That is exactly what I'm looking for! Those gobi mounts come with the rack if you get it light bar ready right?

Polished it before frigid weather comes tomorrow
Took it all the way down to the paint, clay bar and built it back with 4 coats polish. Will get pics tomorrow.

I took the t4r to a scenic spot above everything while doing some drone flights.

I love the part where is almost side swipes the parked car then flies through the stop sign. It's that fake increase in hp that goes to his head, making him think the car is to powerful to control.

I ordered 4 Bilstein 5100 shocks, 2" Toytec Rear Springs, and a Toytec Dif 1" drop kit. Should be here in in about a week. I will have a local shop, Top Gun Customs do the install. Looking forward to the end result and hope it is all in expect it will be. Did a lot of reading on this forum before deciding what met my needs. Appreciate all the info and pictures guys.

Just watch those ridge grapplers in the rain. They are TERRIBLE for the first 3000 miles and then they get better but still not great. There are a boat load of complaints all over about them for this very reason.
Took the T4R in a few miles early for its 100K service to include tranny and coolant flush/refill. Also replaced the OEM Panasonic battery after it failed that battery test (after 9 years) with a Toyota True Start. How I wish Panasonic sold replacement batteries in the US. I had a factory installed Panasonic AGM in another car that lasted 18 years before I had to replace it.
