Climbed them all back when I had good knees. This is from Long Valley, which I don't mind publishing because the hordes have already found it. This was the first time I've had that particular spring to myself in 10 years.

Yes I built it. It's my second one. Like this one much better. All you need is a 4 inch grinder. I cut all of the first bumper by hand. This one is all hand cut other than front plate. Used a plasma table just to make it look little more clean.

Do you have any progress pics of the assembly.. the frame mounting, etc? You can email me if you don't want to post them on here. Also, you didn't happen to jot down the angles and measurements did you? I'm looking for a winter project and this would be right up my ally.

LOL, just messing with you. Actually, the worst instances of this that I come across have Ohio plates. I drive at least 1,000 miles per week, so I see a lot of weird.

Agreed, Ohio drivers are terrible. I deal with a lot of them here on the highways

Finally, did an iPhone mount. Convenient for apps like the GOPRO app to control the camera when ounted anywhere on the Runner.

Removed the Trim Panel around the radio/nav. Drilled a hole to accommodate the RAM 1" Ball.

Pro tip ... I did the same thing and eventually it'll loosen up and rotate downward. If you rotate it so the knob is down instead of up, it'll rest on the dash and keep it at a good level. Obviously you can remove the dash and tighten it back up but this hopefully helps.

I had the 1" ball ram mount installed, and just a week ago I ended up buying a ball adapter plate from a Proclip holder to replace the X-Grip. So much easier now, and I don't need two hands to insert or remove the phone anymore. It seems a bit more stable when wheeling too. Not that the holder moved around a lot, but every once in a while it would get a bit cockeyed. This is for a Note 9, so it is a relatively heavy smart phone. I had been using the ram mount since 2013.

Wrestled the old Thule Mountaineer up on to the new Yakima Crossbars. Really glad I got aftermarket crossbars instead of the factory ones - way more room to work.

Probably building a sleep/stowage shelf after lunch. Will post back!

Carbon fiber look vinyl on the ugly black plastic door pillars. I tried a plastic coating that was supposed to provide a permanent shine but it just looked streaky to me. After my first try (ruined a piece of vinyl) I got the hang of it.

I really like this, thank you for my next mod. Did you remove the trim, apply wrap then reinstall? I did this to my wife's Crosstrek but on the rear window trim.

Today I did a thing.

Superbrightleds.com had a fog light that has the capability of going from 6,000K to 4,300K (White to yellow) with a flick of the factory fog light switch (or any switch for that matter). I was SO happy someone finally made this! Because I don't always need the white light and need the yellow light more and vise versa.

The light output is fantastic and bright enough for me!

Long story short, had plugged a flat in my truck tire and wanted to get it patched, Ford dealer is a good place to go right? Well fixed the patch... but scratched up the rim and damaged two lugs by torquing with an air impact wrench (Ford uses shitty 2 piece lugs because they are cheaper than 1 piece and prone to “swelling”)

The whole experience has made me love my Toyota so much more as South Point Toyota has done all the service work on the 4Runner without ****ing up a darn thing!

Hope they're buying you a new rim. I had a tire shop damage my wheels about 3 years ago, not 1, not 2, but all 4 rims. Needless to say they bought me 4 brand new rims.
