Removed the 2nd row seat backs. First step was to pry up the plastic covers of the two tie-downs in the cargo area just behind the 2nd row seats, then unbolt the bolts revealed under those plastic covers, then pry up the long narrow carpeted strip with a long screwdriver. Then pry up the bottom section of the panel on the back of the 40 seat back, exposing another bolt to unbolt. More poking around, removing bolts, and finally unbolting the 60 seat back seat belt from the floor. This picture is taken looking down and towards the rear while standing in the open rear door on the driver's side. The total weight of the rear seat bottoms and rear seat backs that I removed from the vehicle is about 100 lbs.

Just be sure to put all the bolts back into the floor. Those holes are open, you don't want crap getting up into the cab.

Finally got around to installing my Marathon Seat covers, in Kryptek Raid. Could I have gotten a better fit out of them? Yes. Was a whiling to risk my sanity? No. And it was not fault of the covers but all the wiring and how tight it is around them seats. I am really happy with them and hope they last me a long time. If there is one thing I would change is instead of Velcro, adjustable straps. The Velcro kept grabbing on the carpet and one another and getting a really good handhold to tighten them wasn't meant to be.

I didn't get the add-on's such as pockets for the back as depending on the need, I have different solutions for storage, rifles, fishing poles, etc.

Once I save some more coin I may entertain the though of a set for the middle.

Early Christmas present

Talked my wife into getting me skids for Christmas this year. Last year was my prinsu rack and I already told her next year is gonna be a suspension lift and she should start saving money now. Also put on the fumoto oil drain (f103n).

haha nice. this year was Dirt King uppers for the wife's van. Last year was delayed a bit but was 6112's and rear springs. Next year is probably some wheels:shrug:
