I plan on doing the same thing, yellow film over the stock housings, with yellow 2700k LEDs

I don’t typically post up little things but if you’re looking for a solid phone mount and don’t want to drill into your dash you can grab one of these. Holds the phone in the same spot as the Ram mount. Easy magnetic on/off. Phone hasn’t budged in days.

Honestly, it's very minimal if any...I didn't bother installing the optional noise reducing trim since I didn't want anything touching the paint. Overall, It's a solid roof rack.

What LEDs do you have in your fogs? and do You also have any Yellow film on the lenses?

At the time of this trip they were the stock bulbs w/laminx yellow film covers. I've since changed the film to their amber option.

Thank you. The Predator tube steps. Purchased as part of a package when I got the 4Runner. I think they are made by N-Fab (?) but could be wrong. I like them as they help with my young kids.

Yesterday dropped the truck off at the performance shop before work for another exhaust leak. About the time I getting the rental car after my shift, the shop called and asked me to stop by (ominous). Shop owner leads me around the vehicle, showing me all the exhaust joints which are still sealed and don't have any carbon scoring.
He explains that he's had everyone in the shop (from 2 different performance companies) listening for an exhaust leak for at least 90 minutes and there simply isn't one.
There is an rpm related noise, which sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine. They disconnected the fan and it was still there. There's a definite vibration can be felt at idle on anything attached directly to the engine. I offered that one of the AIR solenoids could be bad allowing exhaust to exit back out the pump, but there's no noise that would indicate that.
He thinks one of the idler pulleys is bad and is going to replace that. I'm not convinced that would produce enough vibration to be felt through the floorboards in the front seat, let alone be loud enough for me to think it's an exhaust leak.
Any one have any other ideas to check?

Pull the belt and start the engine. That will eliminate all of the idlers, pulleys and accessories. Go from there.
Mojave camping and offroading a few weeks ago with some buddies.

Nothing!!! My wife bought a 2018 Limited in November and I've never seen it in the flesh. My job took me to Europe in September '18 and I haven't been home since. I'm probably going to miss the new car smell entirely; by the time I get home in March the car will have her hair ties and Starbucks receipts all over it.
I do have a few questions for you knowledgeable folks though since this is my first 4R (my first Toyota too):
Is the spare full-size? (I assume it is, that's what Toyota's website says)
Do you put the spare into your tire rotation as a 5th wheel? Or does it have a different rim than the other four wheels, and it's a strict spare?
(I've owned Wranglers in the past and they had full spares which I rotated in as part of a five-wheel-rotation pattern)
Are there any issues I need to be aware of when taking the 4R to the dealer for routine maintenance? I ask because I just finished reading a thread on the Wrangler forums about how none of the Jeep dealerships seem to be aware that the 2018 and 2019 JL Wranglers take 5 quarts of oil vs. the normal 6 quarts that the JKs took (despite both having 3.6L Pentastar V6s). JL owners across the country are having their Jeeps overfilled.

Hard to be away and I know the feeling.
Yes it has a full size spare but usually a steel wheel and non matching tire, so no you don't add it into the rotation. You shouldn't need to do anything special at the dealer for normal maintenance. Be aware they will try and sell her every BS service they can possibly think of though. Refuse all in my opinion other then something that you know you need. Hope you get home soon.

You can put the spare into rotation, but the stock wheel is a 17" steelie. Also keep in mind that the truck only has capacity for 4 TPMS sensors.
Personally, I wanted a 5 tire rotation too so I have 5 matching wheels and tires. Just keep in mind the "dumb" wheel will be somewhere in the mix and you should keep an eye on your pressures.
The truck hasn't changed since 2010 and the 1GR-FE (4.0L V6) has roots largely unchanged back to 2003. So the techs should be pretty familiar with it :wink2:
