Installed Morimoto Stroke2.0 LED Low and High Beams today.
I disabled my DLR, so no issues there.
Low beams have a more defined cutoff (I actually like a softer cutoff, but oh well)
Low Beams are noticeably brighter for sure, a nice clear white, no blue tint.
Low Beams fit entirely inside the stock housing behind the cap. No drilling.
High Beams are MUCH brighter.
High Beams fit fine, but wtf Toyota, why arent the high beams covered also?
Only concern is the high beams being exposed to the elements.
Pricier than many LEDs out there, but, the beam pattern is correct, and clean.
I know, I know, where are the pics, sorry, had limited time to get these installed today.

Probably because they didn't anticipate you installing a heatsink back there. Eh, no idea why the low-beam has a dust cap but not the high.
It's already too late but xenon depot (now owned by the retrofit source) makes a nice set of 9005 LED bulbs that have a peacock tail heatsink instead of an active fan. You can also option them with the DRL drivers for about 15% of full brightness.
I also have the 2stroke 2.0s in my low beams. Not as dazzling as HID bulbs but much less hassle and failure points. Great upgrade for the money, twice the brightness of stock, and excellent retention of beam pattern and throw.

Changed a flat in Joshua Tree. Picked up the tiniest screw somewhere between skull rock and hidden valley and it was hissing like hell when I jumped out. Of course I didn't bring the compressor to save room for the rest of the gear.
Gonna try plugging it myself tomorrow and if that goes wrong I guess I'll just have to upgrade to some real tires. Been looking at the Wildpeaks so I'll probably go that route.

I don't care for how the DLR was set up so I was disabling that no matter what bulbs I used
I was looking at the LEDs that you mention with the peacock fanned out heatsink also. But I wanted to get the same LEDs for high and low beam so I could make sure the color temperature matched. Probably wouldn't have been noticeable between those two LEDs but still.
All in all I am very pleased with the output of these LEDs. One of my main concerns was keeping a nice clean beam pattern.

Yep I have the same exact setup and I Love them. Have you done anything with the fogs? I did the Morimoto XB fogs and they are great as well.

Still debating what I want to do for the fogs, I think I am going to go with a yellow LED, and maybe even yellow film, with the stock housings.
Just not sure what yellow leds to use.

Installed rain guards. Front passenger cracked when I first rolled window up. Crack doesn’t show and a piece fell inside door. Kinda pissed but it still looks like it’ll work.

They might flicker with the dlrs on. They have an anti-flicker kit available but they still run at pretty much full brightness so I opted to disable them altogether as well.

I have these and have found the color helpful for reducing reflection in fog. I started with the pure white version and the output was too green with the laminx yellow film.

Yeah I have the yellow film over the fog lights on my BRZ. Looks great from outside the car looking at it when the lights are off. But with the white LEDs like you said it's a very sick green color.
wow's those LEDs you linked are cheap enough might be worth a try. Do you notice any odd or distracting beam artifacts from them?
I know it's hard to tell with him being a different color but do they seem brighter than the stock fogs also?

Following up from yesterday...
I pulled out the offending screw. Turned out to be a cam screw for flat-pack furniture (like Ikea).
What the hell it was doing in Joshua Tree beats me, but maybe someone lost it off a camper/teardrop? Took less time to plug the hole than it did to get the screw out and since I already had it off I rotated them all.
Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer for those Wildpeaks.
