What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Ordered up another set of 295s today. Started in March of 2017 when the stock wheel and tires came off my 2016 4R at 325 miles and on went the 285 KO2 and 3" lift I liked it, but with a 3" lift the 285 is just too small so about 3500 miles later I went with a 295 Ridge Grappler. Well 6000 miles later I couldn't stand the horrible traction of the RG in the rain so I swapped back to a 285 AT3W which is an amazing tire but yet again too small. Going with a 295 Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 which will be installed next weekend. Pictures will follow of course.

Holy moly! Your 4Runner buys new shoes more often than my wife!

This is what I ordered. Must have been on sale over the Holidays.. I did not find a blue version. I know there are a few versions. This one can be found on Ebay cheaper as well.

IMO nothing beats new tires, especially that new tire smell:whip:. those Mickey Thompsons are similar to coopers no? since Cooper owns them

Yes they are but the Mickey Thompson is said to be better in the rain which is something I need in this area. The cooper STT Maxx was the runner up to the Mickey Thompson ATZ P3

Had the STT Pros on my GMC and they were great, other then you could really feel the tread blocks at slow (parking lot) speeds. They were great in the wet as well. I did run the truck in AWD mode when it was wet though. Looking forward to you posting a review on them. I have a set of new duratracs that I picked up cheap ready to go on, as soon as I figure out my lift.

I loved the STT MAXX i had for a couple weeks, other then they did the totally random cooper pull to the right. They also were kinda floaty due to how deep the tread was.

Really not a bad option for the money. Nothing but positive reviews. It's the green that's the problem and it looks BRIGHT. LOL

Do the switches reset back to the off position when the ignition is cycled? Thanks for the info.

Dog is again 0 help with anything. $280 / 15 min project to swap tail lights if you come prepared with a 10mm deep socket and extension. K54 headlights when i fell comfortable dropping $1500+... and the chrome will be gone!

Went and checked out the TRDP suspension that I bought last week and when I started pushed down on one of the rear shocks, it sprang a leak. Now I have one useless rear shock. What I thought was a good deal turned out to be so-so. Now I'm going to have to buy another set of rears.

Installed Dobinsons 3 inch lift coil springs today and airlift bags and MOOG one inch longer sway bar links. I think the links were for a 4th gen? Puts the sway bar back where its supposed to be after the lift.
