Yeah it sucks. The shop said they tried everything to not put those weights on the outside. Its on 2 of the 4 wheels.

Did you have to bend back the pinch weld to get the 285/75 to clear without rubbing on the front?
Added spacer to the front to level out, removed spidertrax spacers, alignment to get rid of that annoying body mount rub(I was stressing out about it, I was trying to stay away from the CHOP) but now, only very little rub on driver's side front fender....just gotta do the push back mod now. Super happy with the turn out. Parked next to a stock sr5 for comparison.

I'll be running air lines to all 4 wheel wells so that I can air up and air down all 4 tires at once:flypig:

Not really today, but the other day before hopping a plane back to lovely Saudi Arabia.. (Not) I installed my Prinsu 3/4 rack and Green Lane Offroad front skid plate.
I read a ton of bad things about Prinsu After I ordered it, so I was pretty nervous. although the box showed up beat to hell, and a few cross bars scratched. I was pretty impressed and happy with the rest of it.

Got around to installing the TRD Pro lower valance in the front and rear. Really gives the front an aggressive look and matches the blacked out emblems in the rear. And yes...I have a new front license plate cover coming in the mail.

...Late-Winter In Yellowstone-NP...

...Last week I finally got down to Yellowstone National Park for 4 days of filming and camping....( during winter, the ONLY campground open is Mammoth-Springs,
...and the only entrance is thru Gardiner, in the NW corner...)...
...I spent each day driving back-n-forth on the Only road open...which runs West-to-East to the NE entrance at Cooke-City...but the road is closed beyond that till mid-May!...
...( it's basically about 135-mile round-trip )...
...There is still plenty of snow everywhere...and overnights dropped into the teens...but during the day it got into the high 40's and low 50's...with plenty of sun and not much in the way of wind...so perfect conditions for photography!
...Sleeping inside the 4Runner...temps stayed near freezing..with the lowest being 26...but I have a great down-bag...so I was snug-n-warm...( at least until I got out of it in the early morning to get dressed! )..:wow:..
..Always hated that part of camping!...LOL!...
...I went online and phoned to check on availability of food and showers, etc...but ALL the info was wrong...as there was NO food or lodging or showers in the park!...
..Had to drive to get eats back in Gardiner, which was 5 miles back down the mountain on a curvy road with 7% grades and LOTS of critters...since cooking was really not too feasible due to temps..
..plus...the fire-ring was full of 3-feet of snow..so no fires, either!... Also turned out the one place in town that had showers for campers...was, of course....closed....Ugh!..:doh:.
...so it was a good thing I was on my own!...:violin:
...The amount of wildlife in this park is always fantastic...but that one great shot is still highly dependent on plenty of luck...and simply being in the right place at the right time...
...Here is a list of the pics:
1)...my campsite....nearest the only open restroom..( which was heated! )...:thumb:...the snow was packed down and icy...making for 'fun' walking around...
2)...most of the critters used the roads for easier travel...as post-holing thru 3-feet of snow burns way too much energy!...notice how this bison has frost all around his mouth from hot-breath turning into ice....
3)...a friendly bull-elk feeding on a ridge...( sporting a trophy-rack )...but I only hunt with cameras...so I took this trophy-photo...and the elk gets to live another day...
...( this guy has probably only lived this long since he is IN the park?! )....
4)...a typical scene found along the drive...the sound of the water and mostly lack of human sounds makes stopping in these places so serene...
5)...a typical stretch of highway...with plenty of mountains..plenty of trees..and plenty of snow....roads were nice-n-clear....( mostly )....
6)...snow-pillows in the river....difficult not to want to linger in these lovely places....
7)...I stopped at the Information-Kiosk on the border of Montana/Wyoming...surprisingly..it was...closed?!...:noidea:
8)... the main problem with driving East in the morning...and West in the afternoon...is the amazing glare from snow that has been glazed over from warmer temps and wind-scouring...

4)...early morning rush-hour traffic on the road...you can be guaranteed at least several of these a day...some lasting up to 15~20 minutes...as the bison sun themselves perpendicular to the road to try and warm themselves up!...
5)...high-valley view going thru passes where the sun rarely shines this time of the year...making for some snowy-icy conditions....
6)...Altho we are way up in the NW-corner of the lower 48...YNP is still only halfway between the equator and north-pole.....
7)...Moonrise over the road near the campground....
8)...Along the road home between Gardiner and Livingston....a Gorgeous look back at the park....:thumb:
...Well, that about wraps it up....still processing All the photos and videos I took while there...( 2,742 photos..85 4K videos )...and I am Really glad I went!...
...Winter camping is a challenge...especially if ya got crappy circulation like I do!...but Don't misunderstand.....I LOVE winter...but still get cold....and am SO envious of those who do not!...
...But, as with most things of value...there is a price to pay...and I do not mind the inconveniences of winter when I can get to go out and see and enjoy Amazing scenery and critters...
...and get to photograph all of this and share it with others.....especially with those who live far away, or are unable to easily get out and enjoy it themselves....
...And I owe so much of this to the 4Runner...which allows me to go out and enjoy fantastic places with confidence...carries all my gear....and gets me back safely!...:thumb:

Purchased some Baja Squadron sport Amber driving lights for ditch lights w/ Cali Raised brackets. Gotta place an order for an OEM switch now.
Anyone in the Hampton Roads area with knowledge of installing lights w/ a switch that could help me? I can do all the set up of the ditch lights and brackets, but I don't do electrical work.
