It’s the angle of the photo, there’s plenty of room and it doesn’t get warm. Someone one the forum has been running it for several years without any issue.

Yesterday I noticed the rear spoiler is rubbing the tailgate on the lower edges. It's already rubbed through the paint down to the primer. Thankfully no rust so an easy repair but I want to avoid it in the future. Anyone else run into this? What did you do to increase the gap there?

Painted sliders, and installed rusted roof rack
These things aren't too bad. Just windy noises. But I have a secret way of making them less loud as you drive. Just open the windows! Problem solved.
Rusted a** roof rack. Cheap. I just want to put it on when I need it not on all the time. Took it for a test run.

This cam in a few weeks ago. Put on the Frontrunner rack last weekend, and got the tent up today using the Frontrunner quick release RTT mounts. Its the Ranier Summit series, and man it weighs a ton. Tossed it up on their myself and was not a smart idea....all in all looks great, but takes up most of my rack!!

Hahahah. I have 2 custom powdercoated bicycles. The guy said "what you color you want". "Hey, what are those over there, that patio furniture, I want that color". "That?". "Yeah, I want my bikes to look already rusted".
Well, okay he said. From 5 feet away, one of my road bikes and one of my mountain bikes look completely rusted. But it's actually a custom paintjob.
So I was googlin around how to "make pipes look rusted" for that industrial inner city bar look.
A can of primer and 3 cans of spray paint later, VOILA!
I did it in between coats of spray painting my new sliders yesterday.
