What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Hooked up my front rock camera and switch and used the backupcameraanytime wire kit. The button looks factory and I can view front or rear camera at anytime by the flick of the switch.

I know I will need to find a better more protected spot for the rock camera, Im thinking maybe up in one of the holes in the bumper. Ill figure that once I get my new skids here.

Here is the camera I used because its more heavy duty than the $20 amazon ones at lest I hope we will see.

Installed a Pedal Commander. Best $229 I’ve spent on this truck. Just passing in normal city driving felt like such a task. This thing totally fixes that. I’ve got it set on City +1 and feels great. I’m going to play with it a bit until it’s perfect. Connects to a phone app via Bluetooth so adjusting is a snap. So far, thumbs up.

Yesterday I noticed the rear spoiler is rubbing the tailgate on the lower edges. It's already rubbed through the paint down to the primer. Thankfully no rust so an easy repair but I want to avoid it in the future. Anyone else run into this? What did you do to increase the gap there?

I just check mine. I have the same issue. Did you remove the spoiler? If you did, do you simply remove the 4 plugs and the bolts?

Haven't done anything yet. I will be looking at it on Tuesday and I will take pictures and post up whatever I do to resolve it.

Had some extra time this afternoon so I completed the dual compressor set up. I ran air hoses from the manifold to all 4 wheel wells. Thus, I’ll be able to air up and down all 4 tires at once [emoji2962]. Pretty excited to hit the trails soon and give er a shot!

Love it. Is that a solar power charger thing you can plug things into?

It is an FSR Ready Go Light. It is a solar powered light and yes you can also plug in USB chargeable devices into it to charge off of.

Looks interesting! On the manifold; is the blue one another coupler? Then the brass next to it is an overpressure relief? Or is that where you are bleeding all 4 down from? Maybe add another shraider port on the manifold and then you could screw one preset tire deflator onto that, they come with 4 so you could have 4 different presets.

First Post

This weekend I put on the new rims, blacked out the chrome on the body, and added deflectors to the hood and windows and it looks so much better already. Drive a 2018 sr5 in metallic grey.

Installed new TE headlights to replace my 10yr old sun beat stock ones.

Installed the lower rigid grill and spot lights

Installed Customs upper mesh grill w/TRD logo

Plasti dipped the fog light chrome housing and the chrome strip on the front bumper.

Vehicle looks AMAZING compared to its previous worn out image. Headlight housings made a huge difference imo.

Decided to go ahead and throw the Spidertrax spacers on yesterday and worry about tires down the line. Crazy how much of a difference such a little thing can make in making the vehicle look more aggressive.

Was planning on avoiding black wheels but I think black will ultimately just make more sense with the magnetic gray. Keeping an eye out for a set of Trail/Off Road wheels for cheap on Craigslist that I can have powdercoated and then swap to them without having to be without the vehicle for a few weeks.

Also kinda nice with these tires as there is minimum rubbing. With AT3Ws on my 2016, they rubbed like a mofo, but this allows me to be lazy on getting around to trimming the bumper and moving the fender liner/mud flap.

trimmed my front bumper a little and did the fender liner mod. No more rubbing going in reverse.

This weekend I had the front and back valances wrapped along with the bar under the emblem on the front. Also, finally tinted the front two windows too!
