It was pretty warm here in Maryland today, so I added Morimoto headlights and fog lights.

Ahh finally! I’ve been waiting to see a Limited with these headlights. And the bonus is it’s in magnetic like my truck.

I ordered XenonDepot HID with Phillips 4300k bulbs and the Extreme 9005 LED high beams, which came to $377. Ordered 12/27 and still no word from those clowns. You’d think they’d send an out of stock email or an apology email, this isn’t 1994, companies ship within 3-5 days MAX. Anyway, for $600 more I was heavily considering these Morimoto XB’s. (Already received my DD SS3 fogs)
My biggest concern was for the end of the 5yr warranty as I seem to keep my vehicles for 7-8 yrs. will the LED’s fail...

Passenger side door handle fixed and removed front mud flap(hopefully this will solve the rubbing issues)

Out of curiosity, why is it a must? Do the LEDs not fill in the immediate front and sides?

Correct. Thats one of the biggest complaints is the dark areas in the foreground and sides. If you haven't yet, i'd suggest reading through the huge thread on them.

swapped factory hi beams with the philips 9011's. they are very bright. install took less than 5 minutes. you still have to trim the top center tab a bit, like on the H9's. it is plastic and not metal like the H9's, so be careful. also you do not have to trim the inside tab of the 9011. the connector will plug and play to the light.
also swapped out interior lights for LED's from HIDkit pros. cargo, dome and one map light. ****in broke the drivers side map light housing trying to put the led in...how i dont know but i am really mad. made a note on a couple of the lighting threads looking for help. :tsk::tsk::tsk:

Oh the jealousy. We used to run Yankee Hill all the time when I lived there. I used to be a part of an offroad group called CO4LO but that has dissolved since.
Enjoyed the Pictures and hopefully I'll get out there for a visit and we can do a trail run.

I know there are tons of "how tos" on this, but this is likely my next mod and was wondering what tutorials or YouTube Videos you used to do this? Anything you came across that wasn't covered? Thanks for any insight!

You don't need a youtube video or anything to do this. It's about as basic and straight forward as it gets.
