What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I know there are tons of "how tos" on this, but this is likely my next mod and was wondering what tutorials or YouTube Videos you used to do this? Anything you came across that wasn't covered? Thanks for any insight!

As [MENTION=153213]2016 4Runner SR5[/MENTION] pointed out, the install is pretty straight forward. I did watch this YouTube video before proceeding with the install and followed the instructions included with the kit. The pics in the instructions are pretty good, but it was nice to have the video to clarify things. The step order diverges between the two, but I just followed the included instructions which has you tackle separating and setting up the MAF wiring before putting the intake into the car. This is easier because it gives you more room to work with. I definitely recommend using silicon spray to help slide the fittings together. But it's pretty much just plug and play.

I ordered XenonDepot HID with Phillips 4300k bulbs and the Extreme 9005 LED high beams, which came to $377. Ordered 12/27 and still no word from those clowns. You’d think they’d send an out of stock email or an apology email, this isn’t 1994, companies ship within 3-5 days MAX. Anyway, for $600 more I was heavily considering these Morimoto XB’s. (Already received my DD SS3 fogs)

My biggest concern was for the end of the 5yr warranty as I seem to keep my vehicles for 7-8 yrs. will the LED’s fail...

I took these today after work. The lights are brighter than they look.
The turn signals are bright too and had to get plug 'n play resistors from Morimoto. Definitely worth it;

Today I washed all of my windows and applied a new coat of Rain-X, as well as added her first window decals.

I've only had her since Dec 21st, and aside from a running-board delete, she's bone stock. Big plans for her!

LineX and DD SS3 Fogs

Had the front and rear silver valences LineXed and since I had the bumpers off, installed the new DD SS3 Pro Fogs. Very happy with the set up.

barely anything with the stock TRD rims i drove it for a few days before trimming.... only had to heat and reform the mudflaps and trim the inner front fender lip 3-8/inch and just pushed it drilled a new hole and pushed the inner liner forward. Drove on some snow banks forward/reverse full lock no rub

Thanks! I’m going to do a 2/1 lift and the 285s will probably go on after. Just wanted to make sure a BMC wasn’t needed.
