Yes, Frontrunner slimline 3/4 and ARB 2000 size awning which is about 78” long. There are quite a few threads on the size pluses and minuses etc. I didn’t want mine extending too far from the front edge of the rack.

Thanks. I have the same rack and am like you, wanting an awning that is big enough to offer shade but not extend too far past the rack. Going to have to look at this one now.

I got the led light kit with mine awning. It’s pretty cool. Can be dimmed and has amber or white leds built in so you can switch between the two colors. I bought mine as a bundle which was cheaper than separate.

Thank you! This one is their 5' awning. They have larger sizes but I wanted one that was about the size of my 3/4 rack.

I had installed Dobinson shocks and springs two years ago, and the rear lifted more than expected. Since I kept the 4Runner fully-loaded most of the time, it didn't look too bad.

After selling my RTT and removing most of my camping and recovery gear, my rake has now increased to 2.5". Before trying other springs or spacers, I wanted to reinstall my stock springs to establish a baseline.

The 4Runner now has 0 rake (measured hub to fender). I assume I'll get reverse rake with gear loaded, but I'll try this for a while and see what it needs.

After driving with the stock springs for a week, I decided I wanted a little rake again for when I'm carrying gear. I installed Eibach's 1" rear springs, and my rake is right at an inch. Like Mutant138 has said, the install is a lot quicker the second time around.

I would highly recommend getting powder coating from
Sport Shop - Route 66 Mods Inc.

They have a proprietary process that prevents chipping and the PC won’t fade like an oxide coating.

Thanks for sharing that tidbit. That sounds like a better approach

But sending the existing bolts away would mean removing the rack during the process, while getting the black oxide ones would allow me to do an in place swap.

Decisions, decisions.... Oh well, at least I can carry stuff now!

Hmmm... Just thought of a couple of things - Kingman is only 2.5 hours away (or better yet, 4.5 hours driving on some trails I've never driven ). And powder coating means we aren't limited to black. Wonder if tiny red dots would go along with the Barcelona Red vehicle

Off topic, but answering a question in the thread.

On windows, try JPEG Lossless Rotator. JPEG Lossless Rotator 9.2 - free photo rotation software. If you have a Mac, search for those terms, and you will find something equivalent.

Problem happens because JPEG images store the camera orientation as extra meta-data when the picture is taken. But not all systems respect that setting, or it sometimes gets removed when the picture goes through some process (for example resizing), depending on the tools.

Its actually a vinyl wrap - I love it! Super durable and should hold up for several more years. The last owner paid pretty handsomely to get it done. It's a nice Salsa Red underneath.

Took it back to the dealer and had all of the center caps replaced. For some reason, even though it only had 2 miles on it when I picked it up last week, all of the aluminum rings surrounding the Toyota emblem on the center caps were dented and loose. I didn't notice this until I washed it and cleaned the wheels. We swapped another set off of a new ORP they had on the lot.
