Got my wheels, 275/70R17 KO2s, and Bilstein 5100s (1.75") finally installed. Much better.
Looks great. I wish the 275 KO2's weren't E load.

Did and oil change and was blown away at how much crap was in the filter canister. Looked like coffee grounds. Makes me wonder if it has been on there for awhile (previous owner was getting it serviced at the dealer and a local shop).

Got rid of the minivan tires. And added a little something so people would know it's 4-wheel drive.
Those badges are corny and I love them (along with the classic Toyota colored stripes) for some reason.

Same here. But the 265s looked silly, and I was set on those tires after using them for years on various vehicles. So, is what it is. I just won't bring anyone with me, ever, and offset the extra weight

Removed windshield tint and replaced my burnt out Xenon Depot Extreme LED light.
The Tint was old and starting to bubble slightly, and I just don't like having illegal windshield tint on my vehicle.
The bulb died sometime between removing it from my 2017 and installing it in the 2013. Xenon Depot was more than happy to replace it for me and actually sent me two brand new ones! Pretty happy with them as a company. Hopefully these ones last forever, as I would expect crazy expensive LEDs to!

The LED bulbs are pretty cheap to build. They gave you two because they'd have to pay someone to open the packages and pull one out, then maintain inventory of all the different kinds of loose bulbs they have on hand, etc.
I went through the drop-in LED phase. Happily running upgraded halogen bulbs (H9 and 9011), which are much better at focus and distance projection than drop-in LEDs. Good luck!

Can definitely see where you're coming from. These particular LEDs are significantly brighter than any others I've seen on the market, as you would expect given the higher price tag. I just liked the Plug and Play easiness to them. They worked remarkably well in my 2017 with projector headlights - comparable to hid. I feel like with the reflectors of the 2013 they're just throwing light in all directions. I may look into hid at some point, but I really don't do much night driving nowadays.
The old lady's 2019 Forester Touring has LED lights upfront that actually point with the steering wheel. Best headlights I've ever seen on a vehicle and the focus is outstanding.

Nothing big, but I was able to make some "hidden" storage for some things I like to daily carry. I used a seat cover bottom from my Jeep to cover the tools, recovery bag and air compressor. Its not like it is secure, but it is hidden and look like it might be a seat bottom from outside which you would have a hard time seeing in with 10% tint over factory.
