Just got boslla led headlight bulbs installed today. Pretty happy with the look and performance. They look great! I like having the option of selecting color temperatures to match weather conditions.

had ceramic and hated it. this is with mequiars synthetic sealant which is just like ceramic but not

Day 3 of vinyl wrapping a trail valance in matte black. This mod is kicking my trash (almost wish I had plasti-dipped instead, but I'm afraid of oncoming rocks and chips). Way too advanced for first time wrapping. But I expect to finish and install this weekend!

That's my only gripe with the Pro LEDs... while really bright, they are also too white.I wish there was a 3500-4000k option.

Diode Dynamics makes the SS3 pod in two flavors, 3000K yellow and 6000K white. However, the base LED color temperature in the yellow lights are actually 4000K chips. You can swap the white lenses into the yellow pods, and have a 4000K fog light. Not to mention, they completely blow any other fog light out of the water. See info here:

Holy moly, that’s a lot of analysis and work for fog lights. Do you all live in really foggy areas where you need to light them up a lot? At night? I’ve used mine for less than an hour in two years.

I live and work in an area that gets a late-night marine layer at least once a week. A good fog light is also fantastic for lighting up a wide area right in front of the truck, good for low speed trail work.

Yeah the last vehicle I had with fog lights was my '05 Grand Cherokee. In 14 years and 140,000 miles I probably used them 4 or 5 times. The only time I've used the fogs on my Runner in the past year was to turn them on to make sure they worked. I only need them when it's, you know, foggy. It just doesn't happen here that often. I do not understand people who have them on every time their head lights are on. They're fog lights, not driving lights.

Yes, exactly true. This is exacerbated by all the knuckle-draggers that stuff offroad lights in there and leave them on full time (Baja Designs etc.) and think they're "fog lights". They're not fog lights chief, and you're blinding other drivers. Drives me nuts.

Pulled the sliders off washed her and swapped wheels and tires out to some skinny's. Figured I would make her more of an urban assault light duty rig now that I am close to finishing the other truck....

Installed a 2.5” front and 2” rear lift. Then tucked some 285s (KO2s) underneath. No rubbing, clears BMC no problem. Went with Eibach Pro Shocks, Wheelers (Eibach) T1 front coil and OME 2895E rear coil. Ripping out all the XREAS wasn’t too bad.
