Didn't have my cell phone / camera but today I found some MUD!

There's an ATV trail about 5 miles down the road from me. I explored part of it previously but turned back. Took it further today. Went through a couple puddles, did a creek crossing, got to the other side and found MUD. This was the, git your hill billy friends with lifted trucks and mud tires, type of mud!!!

Locked in the rear, clicked A-Trac for the front and sent it. I was literally going sideways through this mud. Made it through 3 big muddy sections and turned back to hit them again! Fun stuff.

Still haven't completed the trail yet. Maybe next week.

Picked up the eibach pro kit for $630 on amazon! Im pretty confident i can do the reara but nervous about kdss on the fronts.

took me longer to align the rear kdss bracket than the front. You got it, just be patient and take a beer break if its getting to you.

Replaced all the front speakers. Took some pretty serious rigging for the dash, but it turned out great! Even took the emblem off the original grill and put it on the truck door [emoji12]

Happy with the sound, but only because I have a good sub under the seat. Without that there would be no bass! Nice clear clean sound now tho [emoji108]

I had one and it is nice but will sag even with light items on it over short time. I took mine out but kept it for template. Ordered 2mm Carbon fiber board and will make strong version using this as a template to trace proper shape.

On March 19th I had the rare (for me) opportunity to go to Mt. Laguna during a significant snow storm. It had already been snowing during the previous two days, so there was 6-8 inches of snow on the ground when I arrived, and more coming down.

The trees were decorated with a heavy blanket of snow that turned stately pines into fanciful Christmas trees:

Oaks and other deciduous trees were transformed as well:

Winds were light, and I was able to make numerous flights with my drone. I flew it over, around, under, and between the snow-draped trees, often while snow was still falling, and captured some truly epic video footage and stills:

I went home satisfied with the both the experience, and the amount of great video I had shot.

Then...DISASTER!!

I couldn't find the microSD card that had all of my best footage from the drone! Somehow I had lost it after putting in a new card. All I had were the last two, brief flights that were on the new card.

Two days later after most of the snow had melted I went back to the place where I had removed the full card from the drone. This was on a little-used driveway to a private observatory. I searched through the remaining snow and ice that still covered portions of the asphalt, but no luck.

After 3 years, I was finally able to get a suspension. Dobinsons. The TRD bilsteins were shot. I think both front struts were blown.

Hey, Ray. We love your photos, videos, and adventure stories. So sorry your drone footage was lost. But maybe it’s the universe telling you to live in the moment and enjoy it.
Our loss, however, since we all like living vicariously through your photo and video documentation.
Maybe try praying to St Anthony, patron saint of lost items. It can’t hurt!

...Those little cards are surprisingly robust...and don't seem to be too affected by moisture...so maybe when some of the snow melts..ya might find it?...It's a bit of a long-shot...but worth the effort to try, right?...:noidea:
