This past weekend I got around to finishing my upgraded suspension setup. Had already installed Toytec's Aluma 2.0 coilovers etc, but got my new JBA UCAs in. LOVE all the red in contrast to the pearly white. (New sway bar end links installed at this time as well)

Side note, noticed that the lower shock mount bushings on both coilovers had split in the 1 week they were installed. Contacted Toytec and they're shipping me out a new set of coils already with improved bushings. Great support from those guys. Can't recommend them enough.

Yesterday I got new tires and installed a Rigd Supply ultraswing rear tire carrier with the fold down camp table. I was pretty close to building my own but I have to say it is a very solid and well built piece of gear. I had 78,000 miles on the BFG K02s that I took off. They looked like they easily had another 10-15000 in them, but had become pretty iffy on wet roads and loud on any road. They were very quiet when new. I replaced with 5 new BFG KM3. So far so good. Much quieter than the tires I removed and they look fantastic.

Broke the rig out from the body shop to get new rubber installed at my local Toyota. Out with the Dunlop in with the Grabber 265/70/17. Really impressed with the transition as far as handling and road noise since this is my first A/T tire of any kind on a truck. Love the look with the raised white letters out the outside too. Dropped it back off at the body shop again for a few more tweaks and a full detail, after a full month she finally comes home tomorrow.

Gave her a bath instead. First time since the ceramic coat that shes been this clean. It hasnt gone longer than a day or 2 without rain.

hmmmm these look familiar LOL You might want to get rubber covers for the USBs to keep junk from falling in and the lights do get annoying at night IMO

It's a Purple K extinguisher from a HMMWV, better formulated for vehicle fires.

Haha! It’s good to have military connections. I’ve been carrying a small halotron1-based extinguisher from H3R Performance. It’s real expensive but I wanted a no mess extinguisher so there’s no residue inside the truck or under the hood. I once used a standard dry powder unit to put out a small camp stove fire in my garage and cleaning up the mess was quite a pain. It also messed up my stove burner.

It’s real expensive but I wanted a no mess extinguisher so there’s no residue inside the truck or under the hood. That's the thing about the Army, there's always extra stuff lying around getting thrown away that's perfectly serviceable. One just has to be observant

Mounted a DMOS shovel to my C4 ladder with Quick Fists and Crazy Beaver extensions. Replaced the plated hardware with SS. Bought a cable gun lock to secure it...you know to keep an “honest” person honest. Shovel is very nice, light, rust prove and compact.

Painted the TRD logo with Red 3P0 Touch up paint that was left from my previous red Toyota. Nothing fancy!

Couple updates. First is removing the "Super Bright blah blah LED 921 reverse bulbs" that are covered in random LED emitters. Replaced them with Gy6.35 halogen bulbs as described in this thread here:

I'm finding out more and more that mashing LED blister packs into halogen housings is not the best idea. Halogen upgrade on the left, LED garbage on the right, the results speak for themselves:

Next up is a pet barrier upgrade. The Raingler nets work great if you have laid back dogs, but one of ours is so persistent that she finds a way to wiggle around it every time. I bought the Bullet Proof Fabrication pet barrier (still on sale?) and it works phenomenally. It is also easy to add gear to. I attached a soft first aid kit in the dead space next to the headrest (front of the panel).

Today I reinstalled the factory mud flaps after I used the heat gun on the areas that were getting tire rub. I decided to put the mud flaps back on because the car was getting filthy from road dirt etc.

It is on sale for $285 plus shipping right now. I have a big dog but she never tries to go over the seats. I bought it for safety and capacity. Quality is great, only 4 knobs to remove once installed, aluminum, I can leave it installed and fold a seat down if needed, rattle free and bigger openings so seeing through it is not an issue.

I also bought their side panels but they have yet to show up.
