What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Tore out a closet the yesterday. Today used the 2x4s to build a frame to fit inside our Victory rack to bring home some drywall.

I like the Victory rack, but it is only 47" wide, and the cross pieces are just a bit below the level of the side rails. That means that drywall or plywood carried on top would get marred by the side rails. I ran 4 2x4s front-to-back with a couple of 9" pieces screwed underneath that fit between the cross-bars. Then attached a couple of side pieces so that the straps wouldn't collapse the side of the drywall.

A bit too much effort for a single run to the store, but I expect we'll have more drywall or plywood to haul in the future. Or we could just borrow the neighbor's trailer...

Tried cleaning up my wiring a few weeks ago...today was my 2nd attempt. Then installed a hood switch, Cyclones were previously wired to SPOD.

Yeah, that would frustrate me. A 4x8’ sheet of any kind should fit, even if the cross bars are recessed.

Hydrodipped the dreaded carbon fiber center console.
Tapped into the rearview mirror to power the Valentine 1.
ArcLight LED all interior with red light option.
Skinz a couple areas on the steering wheel.
Winch. Antenna/Flag mount.
2nd row USBs. Removed 2nd row single seat and seat belts.

Not today but recently installed the following:
-LFD stainless crossbars with aluminum wind faring
-RAD Rubber Design splash guards *Had a squeak coming from driver wheel well (stock guard) for over 2-years. These are gold!
-ProClip Center Dash Mount with Scoshe adaptor / Magic Mount (magnetic) Charger *Will hard wire.

Couldn’t deal with the lack of hard hitting bass in the standard audio setup so had this nice little Rockford Fosgate 10” sub installed, fits the bill for me, easily removable when needed and 300w of oomph is plenty back there. Highly recommended.

Backed it out of the garage to get the Harley out for a nice small group(5) ride today, then W/bike back in garage drove back into garage. That's all for today's adventure.:banana:

Mounted SDHQ ditch light brackets. Beef!
Still waiting on the wire harness from Rigid. One week back ordered.
Lights are Rigid 360 6 inch and look the business. Got the drive pattern for forward light. Time will tell how much hood glare there will be.

Haha, sorry for such a late response.. been awhile since I came on here. This is actually a wash out in Anza-Borrego. The wife and I decided to so see the desert bloom and sculptures but there was way to many people. So we went slightly off grid about 20 minutes outside of town. Drove down this wash and came to a rock wall dead end about 3 miles in.

Hauled some more 12' boards for home projects, replaced my antenna with the OEM since the stubby broke off in the car wash, and found out someone stole my trailer hitch cap..... yay!

My dealer put their branded hitch cover and a branded license plate frame on my 5th gen when I bought it. I told them I would leave them on there for some free advertising if they would drop the “documentation fees”. I’m sure you can guess their response.
Both went in the trash as soon as I got home.

I'm convinced someone once stole a sticker off my rear window. I had a few stickers on the back and it was the only one gone. No residue was left behind or anything so it was a clean job. I didn't know people did that!!!

I suppose that is possible, but that thing was on there so tight it required a tool to wedge it out. I wonder now......
