Backed into the still closed garage door from the inside :dammit: So now my TRD is at the body shop getting fixed and we’re getting new garage doors. Yay Monday.

Installed the Whiteline greaseless rear sway bar bushings. Working around the gas tank skid was a pain, but doable without dropping it. Took it for a quick drive and these paired with the Delrin-lined front bushings up front really eliminates the body roll.

Yesterday the wife and I bounced over to the safari park in Natural Bridge. Cool spot, but man was it packed. We also got there midday, and I think most of the animals were full. Not many wanted to come up and eat.

It's a cool place, especially the part where you get to walk around the kangaroo enclosure.

Yeah, I got excited when I saw the roos. Unfortunately they had the walkabout enclosure secured due to the Covid. I'll have to get back out there when this clears up.

Thank you for the compliment. I’m not a big fan of silver vehicles, but it’s growing on me. I think the dark gray color on the 4Runner is quite handsome and there’s a couple in my small town, but the silver doesn’t show the dust and dirt as bad, nor the ice and mud that builds up on the tailgate in winter. My dark gray Subaru Outback looks quite crappy during the winter months.

I used to think silver was pretty plain myself but in the right light the metallic silver on these things really pops, almost has a liquid metal look to it. I love being able to go all the way through winter without a wash and it not look too filthy.

I used to have a black F-150 and swore to never own another black or dark vehicle again, it's just too much work to keep clean for my taste. Agreed on the dark grey though, it's very sharp on the T4R.

Wow...post a ton of work and you go for the N-Fabs. Brand new $300. With the little big of rust on them, I may have gotten $50 out of them or had to store in my garage until I decided to give them away for free. I guess if I smash them, they're trash anyway, right? So if they're trashed now, they are basically trash anyway. At least now they don't catch the amount of mud they did when they were really impractical. Thanks for the advice on the mods. On my next build I'll make sure and get a proper set of sliders before anything else. Then again...I could have traded them for another bottle of whiskey.

See I would have thought someone who installed 33" mud terrains on walker evans beadlocks, chopped up their nfabs so that they don't function as step nor function as a slider and are now useless otherwise, installed a victory bumper with a smittybilt winch, and also moved their spare tire from out underneath to a hitch mounted spare tire carrier would actually need extra clearance. My mistake I guess. I bet if you added another set of Baja Designs pod lights that would really make your rig look cool though...

Just picked up a new 2020 Trd pro yesterday and got straight to work! I removed the roof rack, Installed block off plates, removed the spare tire, removed the front plate/mount and removed the front grill Toyota badging. Already looks so much different!

Arent those the street series ones? Faux beadlock? super underrated wheel IMO in real life they look awesome.

BTW...do you take the wear indicators off of your brake pads when you install them? Make sense?

See...I hunt. And where I hunt requires traversing very muddy roads. (Mud Terrains)....These Walker Evans wheels are not true bead locks. Purchased WE's because not too many people running them on a 4Runner. Went with the tire swing to get the spare out from underneath (again mud.) Bumper/Winch...just in case. But like the winch I had on my Rubicon back in the day, only really used it one time as I had 3 tires off the ground stuck in a crack from a boulder I was climbing. Not too many people need a winch....probably me included....but as Warn always marketed..."Go Prepared"...Lights added (may add more) for a new passion, overland camping. Always nice to light up a camp area when no light is available. Every light I've added has a function and purpose. All coming together now for you?

yall gatekeep "mods" in here like if youre not pushing all your gear to its absolute limits, you dont deserve to own it.

chopping the nfab steps looks stupid and impractical, sure. do you gotta be such a baby about it? not really.
