I found an absolute steal of a deal on a brand spankin new hard shell RTT. 1000 bones for this 3500$ tent. Couldn’t pass it up.. now I had to upgrade to a full length Prinsu so it would fit lol

Hmmmm... something doesn’t look quite right. There’s a Canadian company called “Treeline Outdoors”. I don’t see anything looking like this tent on their website, unless it’s an older generation model.

Plus, your logo looks like “Freelines Outdoors”.

Is this a foreign knockoff? Tell us about it.

So, I was going to wait before replying but here’s it is haha. Amazing. I was so stoked I didn’t even notice it.

The P/o took a sharpie to the logo on the sides for sure. See the pics. The metal logo plates in all 4 corners have the right logo. Inside is a serial number on the info sheet that I have sent to Treeline for clarification if it is a knockoff. It’s kind of funny! Even emailed the guy I bought it off of waiting to hear back.

As for not on their website. I read that they were having some issues with the top cover warping, so maybe they pulled it off? Was this a demo model that got sold? I’m anxiously waiting a reply.

Looks like the old Aspen model, but definitely a different logo.

It is 100% a Treeline Aspen model unit. Heard back from sales at Treeline. Sounds like some guy in Calgary bought a bunch of them and he had a hunch sold them off for profit. Sounds like they discontinued this model. Waiting to see why.

Just found out why they discontinued it. Different materials used in the base and they expanded at different rates causing a bit of warping. They told me what to do to secure it and stop it from happening. Still super pumped on the purchase. Now to try to get the ****in sharpie out lol. The guys at Treeline even told me the specs on the struts for it in case they failed.

Just found out why they discontinued it. Different materials used in the base and they expanded at different rates causing a bit of warping. They told me what to do to secure it and stop it from happening. Still super pumped on the purchase. Now to try to get the ****in sharpie out lol. The guys at Treeline even told me the specs on the struts for it in case they failed.

Yeah, the isopropyl alcohol in the sanitizer will dissolve the ink, but it may smear. Use a Qtip to apply and quickly wipe with the paper towel. Probably many applications. Another thing to try is old fashioned hair spray, on the Qtip. That dissolves ball point pen ink.

It looks like a cool tent system at a decent price. Get out there and enjoy it. :thumb3:

Installed a TRD PRO Fox Suspension on my SR5. Also added a set of 1.5/1" Cornfed spacers. Took my time and cleaned up the road grime along the way. The kit sits level when using a leveler on the chassis. Has a slight rake of about .75"

AJT designs steering wheel emblem overlay. Finished my Ram Mounts for the ICS dash mount kit and better pics of the Cali-Raised LeD hidden grille light bar.

I ordered a steering wheel emblem overlay as well. Instead of the AJT I went with another I came across on etsy. I already had the logo blacked out in a horrible vinyl attempt so I wanted something different. If I still had my original grille I would of bought the badge as well but since I'm running the Pro grille now thought this was the next best thing. Also got the red vinyl decal to make it stand out but I prefer it the way it looks right now.

Back in 2004 I camped in the Absarokas in Wyoming. Took horses in there and we camped a full day's ride in, about 25 miles from anything you could call a road. Gorgeous area. Thanks for these pics.

I just got to wait for my greenlane full roof rack to show up, then I’ll mount it and head out to the Rockies for some fun. I had a 3/4 Prinsu but that just wouldn’t work.

Dude I bought it off of blocked me after I asked if he was the moron that used a marker to alter the logo lol...oh well. Killer deal, solid tent. For the price I paid I’m happy if it lasts 2 years. And I’m sure it will. It’ll be uninstalled and hanging in my garage after every trip.
