Yesterday I drove the usual (US-23) route back from the Smokies. I never like going back to the life in suburbia after a week at the mountain lake, but my fishing days were becoming diminishing returns.
Today I finally got around to putting on the new plates. Starting tomorrow, Ohio will no longer require a registration plate on the front. I didn't want the gaping hole of where I didn't put the winch & fairlead. There's very little in the way of license plates to match this theme, so I had
BuildASign.com print me up something to hang on the front.
I gave up on the rusty old license plate bolts and put in some stainless ones. I then hit them with a couple spritzes of clear matte rattle-can as an added layer of protection against Ohio winters. I put together something on Zazzle for the hitch cover, and found an Atreides crest sticker that I liked for some more clues to the uninitiated.

Since I was on a shopping spree, I also ordered a
Tugboat. I still need to figure out how to fit it, and of course the tank and air to run it. But I'm going to have fun with this.
