Fitted the Yakima bike rack in the trunk to haul my bike around. I may get longer bars to fit snug for less potential movement. The front tire is wedged between the handlebar and the pedal.

Uwharrie today

I went to Uwharrie, NC today with my son and rode every trail several times starting with Daniel, to get the hardest one out of the way first. My son is 9 and it's first time ever coming with me and he loved it and wants to go back.

It was great today as it was not busy at all.

This weekend was quite a DIY day for me..
Started with the LPS3 undercarriage coating.
Power washed with mild degreaser and car wash mixture. Let it Air Dry and then a liberal coating of this LPS3 stuff, I’m sure i didn’t need to put a liberal coating but i had so much left that i went back front to back and then back to front from different angles... hope this stuff is all it’s cracked up to be on the trails.

Installed the Hella SuperTones horns. Would like to do a quad super tone/sharp tone horn configuration in the future, in my attempt to NOT buy air horns

And last thing is i topped it off with some eBay special floor Mats! I can’t say they stack up to the rubberized ones in terms of rigidness, but they sure do cover a HELLUVA lot more space! These things literally engage from the end of the plastic trimmings to the doorsill trim, quite impressive because I live by the beach and that comes with sand. All in all was a good day.

I installed the TRD CAI today. Pretty straightforward install using the included instructions from Toyota but the first time I turned the key, the truck sputtered and died. Luckily the second try was fine and it has been running right all day. Took it out to pick up an improved set of tools so I can actually have some metric wrenches.

On board air... York compressor belt driven from 12V winch motor. More work to do, but at least it's mounted. You might call it a "snug fit".

Mine did that too. I figured it was the ECU re-calibrating itself.

I didn’t know there was a mount that could locate it to the front. I’ll def check it out. It does get pretty warm up there.

I got the NOCO for plugging in at campsites. We’re in boring Indiana, so most of the camping we do around here is at parks with hookups and parked next to the families with their big campers. Figured if it was going to be a 3-4 day outing, wouldn’t hurt to have shore power at places like this.

I get it, just was curious, I'm obsessed with the perfect dual set-up so I had to ask. I've redone mine an embarrassing number of times, starting with the same C4 mount you're using. You'll pay almost as much on shipping as the mount, so I don't know if it's really worth it; I just went for it. Here's a picture of the mount if anyone goes down that path, but I have a steel bumper so some mods were made.

Does anyone with a C4 Fab overland bumper know what the model trim specification is for? I have an SR5 with the trd pro grille and garnish-- not sure if that impacts which option i choose for the bumper

I don't believe it's model specific but perhaps someone from C4Fab can chime in?

I washed mine today and vacuumed all the dog hair! I also reattached the driver side bumper that I almost ripped off last weekend! Lol. Time for some steel.

Finally got my Rago panels in! They took about 6 weeks or so however Rago was great at communicating some of the delays they were having with the powdercoater due to the global pandemic. Rago gets an A+ on the communication for sure!

Of course I don’t have everything up on them yet nor is everything in their final positions but so far I’m super happy with them. Mounting is super solid, no wiggle, no rattle at all.

First trip with new MT tires.

Just put on a set of Yokohama Geolandar MT G003 tires. Drove to Sierra’s, messed around near Blue Lakes and had a picnic. Beautiful day!

The 4 tire inflation system took 3 mins to air down from 38 psi to 15psi ... And took 7mins to air up from 15psi to 38psi with the twin ARB and 1gallon air tank

I have a ton of pictures. I'll put together an album with some shots. Once I reach my 15 post threshold, I can start a thread on it.

Finally got the CB, relay and manifold mounted and wired. I tested it and it works great. Filled one of my 275/70/15 tires from 30-40 psi in ~10 seconds!

The compressor shuts off as soon as the pressure switch hits 100psi, and restarts below 70. That way when it's not actively filling a tire, it switches off after ~1 second. Did I mention it draws 160amps of current?

Just placed an order for Bilstein 6112's, 5100's, Eibach 1" rear springs, Dobinsons UCA's, and KYB top hats. I've had the truck for less than a month and I've spent more than $3k on it. :wow: It seemed like regular cars were much less expensive to mod! :lol:

What kind of straps are you using to hold everything? They look really solid. I am doing a similar setup with a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, flashlight and some maxpedition pouches.
