Thanks! Look up Quick Fists, amazon has a box of 8 for around $25 or so? The large ones are good for an extinguisher (you can trim the extra rubber). The holes in the large quick fists don’t line up with the panels as the holes are 2” in the panels, I just drilled 2 new ones and it’s working great so far.
Appreciate it I’ll check them out!

Thanks to this forum, I've picked up a lot of great ideas. During the covid lockdown I've upgraded a few things on my 5th gen. Some of the pics are parts that I added prior, and I've still got some things to add. Anyway, great forum...thought I'd share.
- 5x FN Wheels Five Star 17x8.5 -6mm 6x139.7 ANTHRACITE LIGHT
GUNMETAL aluminum alloy wheel 5578639N6ALGM. These are on 265s right now, and I'll go to 285s when it's time to change tires. The offset on these were perfect after the lift I added kinda "sucked the stock wheels into the fenders” a bit. Can't recommend this company enough. FN is super easy to work with, and I highly recommend them.
- RCI complete skid kit. Every piece they make for the bottom of a 5th gen with KDSS is on (some added pre-covid lockdown), except I didn't get the rear shock guard, dff guard, and lower link guards on this weekend.
- SSO slimline front bumper, SSO washer cover, and Smittybilt XRC GEN3 9500 lbs Winch
- Offgrid Engineering REDARC/ OGE Complete Dual Battery System. The only thing running off the second batt now are the ditch lights, light bar, and winch. I trimmed a small cutting board and mounted a Blue Sea e-series on/off switch to it..it just keeps power from going to the winch full time. I read somewhere this was a good thing to do. I also read that it might be overkill.
- Rago center console panels, and rear window panels (added last year)
- Powertray mount & SPOD. You can see the SPOD touch screen mounted in one of the pics to the Rago center console. I’ll probably move this to the passenger side, because it blocks the front/rear anytime cam switch just enough to be annoying. The mounting arm for the SPOD is pieced together from Ram mount parts.

- Diode Dynamic Ditch Lights mounted on Rago low profile brackets. I went with the flood pattern S3 Pod Pros. I have the amber SAE fog replacements too, but that is a project I didn’t get to this weekend. I’m planning on upgrading the low/high beams at some point too.
- 5th Gen Ultimate Camping Mod. Love it. Ordered it off eBay.
- So, speakers. I’m sure I broke several car audio rules, but it sounds great to my ears. I put in the following:
Front Doors: JL Audio C2-690tx 6x9-Inch 3 Way Speakers with Silk Dome Tweeters
Dash: JL Audio C2-350x 3.5-Inch 2 Way Speakers. These have “PAC BB-1PR Pair of Bass Blocker/Passive Crossover” on them
Back Doors: JL Audio C2-650 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component Speaker System. I got these super cheap at auction after I already made the changes to the front doors. You can see where I mounted the tweeters in the door.
Rear hatch: Rockford Fosgate R1525
- Frontrunner full roof rack. I added that last year.

Swapped out the 5100s to Eibach prolift and added JBA UCAs. I ran the 5100s with stock uppers for about 35k and ball joint eventually started leaking after my trip to Hatcher Pass. Anyways, should’ve went this from the start. Also, kept the rear SAW coils.

brought down the resale value and cut the front bumper, painted and installed skids and sliders (which took WAY longer than anticipated), installed Rago center console MOLLE panels, and some other small things.
2019 -> 2020

Took a trip down to Long Beach yesterday and spent the morning at Beards Hollow. Climbed some rocks, had some snacks, and appreciated an unexpected ~72 degree day up from the 60 and cloudy that was forecast. After that we headed down to Astoria for fish & chips as well as some fun local landmarks.

I was going to toss my roof rack on, but noticed the front-most edge just above the top of the windshield had a few small rock chips. I hate rust so I'm in the process of cutting up some paint protection film and fitting it so that the edge is completely covered.
This might prove to be a bit of a headache in the future because I know the PPF will get damaged if I ever get the windshield replaced. Since the leading edge of the full roof rack will be sitting on top of the PPF, I'd have to remove the roof rack if I ever want to replace the PPF.
Talk about a catch 22.

Got the Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights installed over the long weekend, replaced Morimotos. I’ll apologize for the crap pictures now, as they don’t really do the lights justice. The output and spread is awesome. They really light up the side of the road, which is great for back roads in CO, or any roads besides 25 that have low lighting. I got the Pros and highly recommend them if anyone is on the fence. They were really easy to get in too, no need to pull the bumper off.

Overall, great!
We hit some wind on our way back on this trip and that made it a little difficult just because you could really feel them up there. But never to a point of it being dangerous or anything like that.

Put in those grille bug guards. There is a good post on here on DIY solution on the cheap that seems very effective. I took the easy road out and bought premade. They line up perfectly. Only change I will probably make is installing the Raptor lights behind this piece. 8 hr highway drive tomorrow to test. Plus changed out TOYOTA to black letters.
