I've got the lift and 285 tire upgrade itch bad. Spent most of the day looking through things and making a list.

Since I have the TRD Pro 7" wheels, I also need new wheels and this list is getting stupid expensive, lol.

I agree. You don’t need to move up to a different wheel for 285/70-17’s. So many Pro owners running 285’s on the OEM Pro wheels. You won’t have to do BMC’s, remove your mud flaps and only maybe, have to do a little more trimming than was done at the port on the Pro. I still think the SEMA Pro wheel is one of the nicest looking, regardless of how many. No problem airing down to 15-18lbs either.

I just did the same in preparation for winter as well two weeks ago. I added Sonax Polymer net shield which makes it much easier to clean between details.

I actually applied a sealant to mine as well - it's one of the ones from Chemical Guys, and is applied by hand like a liquid wax and then needs to cure for 20 minutes. They say a coating usually will last 1 year.

Yea, damn bugs. I use turtle wax seal n shine followed up by their ice spray wax. They do an awesome job of protecting the paint and giving it mad gloss. Seal n shine is one of the beast sealants there is (watch some YouTube’s videos on it).

Yeah bugs are the worst! Cool, I'll check out the Seal n Shine videos! One of the new sprays I've heard that is being recommended these days is the DIY ceramic coating sprays from TurtleWax. It's around the same cost as a decent wax (at least in Canada), and the general idea is that after claying, you just spray and wipe with the ceramic spray. Applying 2 coatings would give 1 years protection. Sounds easy enough and would give us back time to work on other things on our rigs

I came across this product through one of the Detailer's Domain mystery boxes. It repels water really well and will last several wash cycles. I'm not sure the exact length, I used to try new products often on my Brilliant/Mythos Black Audis. Otherwise, my preference has been the Nanolex products.

Finished up install of Switch-Pros SP-9100 with SD Offroad tray.
I put the switch panel in the popular spot of left of steering wheel, above side mirror controls. Had to modify the metal brackets a little bit to get the panel to snap into place. Mounting tray in the engine compartment was very straightforward. Directions and supplies given were excellent. Definitely recommend @SD_Offroad for the tray!!

Couple Smal Projects

I got done with a couple small projects recently. I got a power tank bracket on my bumper swing out so it's a bit more accessible than on the roof. I also go an always hot line run from the battery to the cargo area similar to the Trail4Runner mod, and tied two National Luna lights into the line. The lights have three brightness settings in white and red, the pictures are at the highest level. Stock lights are off

Black sounds nice but I fear how much it will help with heat.
The price was unexpected. But I thought about getting the rear windows and have them in all the time behind the modular storage panels.
